Forced to Date 3 Alphas in a Comic: Chapter 13: Cafeteria Drama

Chao Xun had missed copying one homework assignment last night. After secretly finishing it during the first class, he handed it to the class monitor the moment class ended.

The class monitor was actually surprised he would proactively submit homework. In his impression, this was the first time.

The previous Chao Xun was completely a slacker. He occasionally did homework, but mostly didn’t submit it or turned in blank notebooks. Even the teachers had talked to him several times, and the other had been completely unashamed, straightforwardly saying “I don’t know how to write it so I just won’t write it.” Over time, everyone got too lazy to care about him.

Even class activities, if Mi Yu wasn’t participating, he would refuse them all too.

The person himself wasn’t particularly arrogant; he simply only had eyes for Mi Yu and paid almost no attention to anything else. If you didn’t actively provoke him or Mi Yu, Chao Xun was actually quite easy to talk to.

So the class monitor’s assessment of him was: a fool with nothing but romance in his brain.

“Sorry, I forgot to write it last night.” Chao Xun apologized softly, placing his homework notebook on top of the stack.

The class monitor glanced at it. The notebook had two neat characters written on it: Chao Xun.

The class monitor nodded. After Chao Xun left, he took the top notebook and opened it to look: it wasn’t blank after all.

Recently, every assignment had been completed according to the teacher’s requirements, though the accuracy rate was average.

Had he changed his ways?

As the class monitor, the teacher’s right-hand man, he also felt somewhat gratified and incredulous.

Thinking carefully, Chao Xun had actually been quite quiet recently, and he hadn’t heard about him pestering Mi Yu either. This sparked some curiosity in him what has this person been up to lately?

The class monitor simply asked in the class committee group chat:

Class Monitor: Chao Xun has been a bit quiet lately. He even came to submit homework just now

Discipline Committee Member: Not just that. No tardiness or early departures lately, no phone use in class

Group 1 Leader: Also stayed behind to clean up

Group 4 Leader: Didn’t come around this side either

Class Monitor: …Everyone, you’re quite attentive to him

Sports Committee Member: Hehe, who told him to look so good-looking. Love to watch, watch more

Discipline Committee Member: Spitting facts over here

Class Monitor: Stop being thirsty. Is he planning to study seriously now? Giving up on Mi Yu?

Group 4 Leader: Really? Then I can!

Sports Committee Member: Scram, he hasn’t given up at all. I saw him at the gym last time

Class Monitor: What was he doing at the gym? Isn’t he not allowed in anymore?

Sports Committee Member: Who knows, probably not playing basketball

During lunch break, Ke An’an and Chao Xun went to the cafeteria to eat. Chao Xun got a large serving of food at the window, plus a chicken drumstick.

Ke An’an looked at his piled-high tray, stunned: “So much, can you finish it?”

Chao Xun ate slowly and methodically while answering: “I can finish it. Recently my exercise load is high, so I eat more.”

Ke An’an made an “oh” sound, observing his figure. Good, he still looked quite thin.

“Have you been going to training lately?”

“Mm, if I don’t train, I can’t keep up with the progress.”

Ke An’an felt he had been really working hard lately. He asked curiously: “Why didn’t you want me to tell anyone about you joining the basketball team?”

Of course, less trouble is better than more trouble.

Chao Xun felt that he was currently just a reserve member. If word leaked out too early, it might spread rumors like “The fake-Omega Chao Xun is going to harass Mi Yu again.”

To avoid disturbing his training and to avoid disturbing Mi Yu, he had Ke An’an keep it secret for him.

So Chao Xun joked: “Just afraid Mi Yu’s fans would tear me apart if they heard. After all, I have quite the reputation.”

Ke An’an was already used to this kind of mild self-deprecation from him, but still encouraged: “Once you win the championship, you’ll definitely shut them up.”

Before Chao Xun could nod, a voice carrying mockery suddenly cut in from the side: “Ha, raising pigs in the cafeteria? Eating so much.”

Both reflexively turned toward the sound, and saw a male student holding a tray stopped in the aisle beside them, his expression looking quite sneering.

Ke An’an recognized him first. Seeing Chao Xun still had a “who are you” expression, he quietly prompted: “That Omega, the one we met in the cafeteria last time.”

Chao Xun didn’t remember, but that didn’t stop him from guessing the visitor came with ill intentions. Hearing “Omega,” he instantly understood.

Got it. A love rival.

This kind of idol drama-style provocation, Chao Xun hadn’t felt much when reading comics, but hearing it in real life, he only found it somewhat amusing.

He first looked at his tray. Not that much, right? Just four dishes, one soup, one rice.

So he calmly replied: “Mi Yu eats way more than me. I’m learning from him.”

The Omega looked at him in disbelief.

This dead Beta, has the face to compare himself to Mi Yu?

“So eating this much counts as raising pigs? Classmate, don’t tell me you mean Mi Yu is a—” For the last word, Chao Xun only mouthed the shape without making a sound.

The Omega boy was stunned for a moment. After reacting, he trembled with anger.

Chao Xun appreciated his expression for a moment. Watching enemies suffer defeat was his own happiness.

Too lazy to argue with a first-year kid. At this point, if the other had any sense, they should leave on their own initiative.

“You, a fraud, and a Beta at that, what face do you have to stick behind Mi Yu?” The Omega’s voice carried a tremor, as if he were the one being bullied.

Why hasn’t he left yet?

Chao Xun swallowed a mouthful of rice: “Please don’t be sexist. Love has nothing to do with orientation.”

“Who has love with you! Stop adding drama to yourself here!” Seeing him unmoved by oil or salt, the Omega screamed in anger: “I’m warning you, stay away from Mi Yu from now on. He would never look at trash like you!”

Did the previous original owner also warn others like this?

Chao Xun wasn’t provoked by this level of taunting. Instead, he thought of himself. Because he had changed the plot, had the tool person character setting fallen onto this person’s head?

Could the plot automatically repair itself?

Then didn’t he have much time left?

By the start of next semester, his scenes would basically be over. What if he still hadn’t won Mi Yu over by then? When the other male lead transferred in, what would be left for him?

If the mission was declared a failure then, what would happen to him?

The chestnut curly-haired Omega boy saw his face shifting between green and white, feeling he had struck his sore spot, so he intensified his firepower.

“You, a Beta, can’t even smell pheromones. Do you understand the attraction between AO?” He curled his lips into a cold smile. “Oh, of course you know. Otherwise how could you have had the thick skin to pretend to be an O for so long?”

“…”

“Why not argue back? Looks like you know what kind of person you are. If it were me, once things were exposed, I’d pack up and transfer schools. Only someone with your kind of thick skin would still stick around shamelessly.”

“…”

“Let me tell you, I recently took a test. My pheromone level is Grade A. Only an Omega like me is worthy of Mi Yu, understand?”

Chao Xun waited until he had said enough before leisurely opening his mouth: “I don’t understand. Didn’t you say I’m just a Beta? Can’t smell any pheromones or whatever.”

Ke An’an, seeing his calm demeanor, couldn’t help but give him an admiring look.

Truly worthy of being Mi Yu’s number one fan. Facing a love rival’s provocation with calm composure, not putting the other in his eyes at all.

This is the bearing of the top simp!

Seeing the other completely unconcerned, eating leisurely, the Omega boy’s anger burned even hotter. He raised his hand, and the tray in his hand tilted toward Chao Xun’s direction.

“Screech”

“Ah!”

Chao Xun’s brain hadn’t reacted yet, but his body had already dodged first. Amid Ke An’an’s uncontrollable exclamation, he abruptly slid backward, his chair scraping against the floor with an ear-piercing sound.

Everyone looked over.

Ji Yongning, who had just walked into the cafeteria with half a foot through the doorway, heard this sound and immediately frowned. His eyes swept the room and landed on the protagonist who had been discussed that morning.

“Old Zhuang, quick look, Chao Xun is in another love war again.”

He gestured for Zhuang Xu beside him to look, but who knew the latter was already holding up his phone and snapping photos toward that direction with clicking sounds.

Ji Yongning: …

Sometimes he felt Zhuang Xu was way more gossipy than him. The other just didn’t talk about it as much as he did. Looking at this reaction speed, he could compete with paparazzi.

“What are you doing? Reporting this already?” Ji Yongning looked at his actions, speechless. “They aren’t even dating yet.”

“What did you say?” Zhuang Xu didn’t understand. “In case a fight breaks out, I need to keep evidence to report to the teacher.”

Ji Yongning was momentarily speechless from being blocked. Fine, I’m being oversensitive.

Chao Xun had dodged quite quickly, but his shoes were still inevitably splattered with the flying soup, and even his school uniform pants got wet in one spot.

Chao Xun, who had a slight cleanliness obsession, immediately looked displeased. He didn’t want to attend class in early summer smelling like food.

Seeing the other suffer defeat, the Omega boy finally felt somewhat satisfied.

“Sorry, senior. Hand slipped~ You’re so magnanimous, you probably won’t mind, right?”

Ke An’an couldn’t hold back his anger first: “You did that on purpose!”

Before the Omega could speak, another voice suddenly came from behind the three of them: “He doesn’t mind, but I do.”
