Chapter 27: P’Thian
“Achoo!”
Several sneezes sounded in quick succession. Thian pulled the blanket tighter around himself, hoping to alleviate the chills from the mild fever that was just starting to take hold. But it was more than worth it because he had Mangkon back in his arms.
“How is it, Inspector? You wanted to show off being a movie hero in the rain until you got sick,” teased Mangkon.
“Then Mangkon is my heroine, right?” “Inspector, seriously…”
Mangkon shook his head slightly at the other’s playfulness. But just as he was about to turn away, Thian seized the opportunity to grab Mangkon’s slender wrist. He pulled gently, causing the smaller man to lose his balance and fall onto the strong lap. Then, he used his prominent nose to kiss the sweet cheek with delight.
“In…Inspector…” “P’Thian.” “Ye…yes?”
“Can you call me P’Thian, Nong Mangkon?” “Are you crazy?”
Mangkon tried to squirm out of the embrace, but suddenly a crimson blush spread across his fair cheeks. His face felt hot, Simple words, but they made his heart race.
“I want to be Nong Mangkon’s P’Thian.”
The sly one deliberately used pleading eyes again, dazzling beyond measure. Mangkon had to turn his gaze away because he couldn’t stand the embarrassment any longer.
“Just calling me P’Thian, are you going to be cruel to me again?” Thian whispered close, with a pleading voice.
The more he heard it, the more he felt like his heart was beating so hard it was about to burst. Mangkon put on a serious expression, but ultimately let out a soft chuckle.
“If I call you that, will the Inspector stop talking so much?”
“I’ll stop. If you call me P’Thian, I’ll stop everything… except for stopping loving you.”
Those words caused Mangkon to freeze slightly. Seeing the pleading, hopeful face, he couldn’t help but soften.
“P’Thian, are you satisfied now?” “Very satisfied.”
“I’m so happy, damn it! Just hearing Nong call me P’Thian, my life is reinvigorated.” [Thought bubbles] So cute, I have to give him a reward.
Smack!
And kissed on the left cheek with full love. Inspector Thian in this version of himself, even he could hardly bear it. He never thought he would receive love in return.
“Is this how the girls like it?”
“There aren’t any others. I have a wife now. Don’t you believe me? Take a look right here.”
The expensive phone was handed over. The passcode was Mangkon’s birthday. He had no secrets to hide. No Nong Gift, Nong Eye, or Nong anything.
Only Nong Mangkon.
He couldn’t pinpoint when the feeling had changed. But the fear of commitment had completely vanished. What he had said before, that if he loved someone, he would love them wholeheartedly, wasn’t just empty words.
“But I don’t have… breasts. ” “I even like flat chests, then.”
“All I need is for you to have smooth white skin.” “Inspector!”
“P’Thian.”
Damn it, this man! His handsome face was still charming, and his large hand was stroking the smooth, delicate skin. His prominent nose was slowly nuzzling into the slender neck, wanting to tease.
“Tell me, what are you angry about? Can you tell me?”
The smaller man paused for a moment before slowly looking up to meet his eyes. His round eyes trembled with a variety of emotions, making Thian realize that Mangkon was still holding something back in his heart.
“That day… P’Thian snapped at me.”
Mangkon spoke in a soft voice, but it was firm enough to make Thian’s heart clench. He knew exactly which day, because he had never snapped at Mangkon even once.
“Nong Mangkon is upset about this?”
“Not just that. That day, I went out and saw P’Thian with Ms Belle, so I went to eat shabu-shabu alone.”
“I was already annoyed, and you still snapped at me. But what’s wrong with coming home late?”
“I just didn’t like you raising your voice like that.”
All the feelings were spoken out. The feelings had been getting better from the start, and the divorce request further fueled him on.
“I don’t like being yelled at. I really don’t like it.” “I’m sorry. I was wrong.”
The Inspector’s embrace tightened. Thinking back to that day, it was indeed his fault. Because he was worried, it made him act that way. He never thought it would make the younger man think so much.
But he shouldn’t have done it.
“I’m sorry. I won’t do it again.” If he could go back in time to fix it, he would never do such a thing.
“It’s just that I’m worried about Mangkon. I’m afraid something will happen again.” “I’m sorry. It was my fault.”
“Can you forgive me? I promise I won’t raise my voice or snap at you again.”
The dark onyx eyes reflected sincerity and looked at him, never looking away. There was no reason for Mangkon not to forgive him. It was just a bit of sulking, not anger or hate.
“Okay.”
“If you do it again, I won’t talk to you anymore.”
“If you don’t talk to me for a week, I won’t be able to stand it.” “I can still see it just fine.”
“Right here, then. Right here, where it hurts so much I can hardly bear it.”
His thick hand lifted the smaller hand to place it against the left side of his chest. The Inspector right now keeps making his heart race so fast, and he’s still not used to it.
“Go to bed now. You need to rest. Go home to bed now.”
To release his embarrassment, Mangkon felt he needed to do something, so he playfully told the older man to leave.
“No, I’m going to sleep with Mangkon,” “I didn’t give you permission yet.” “Then I’ll ask for permission instead.”
As soon as the words left his mouth, Thian didn’t hesitate. He lifted his ex-wife into the air, and his strong legs strode steadily towards the bedroom on the second floor.
There’s no way he would agree to go sleep at that Phu’s house. He sleeps hugging his wife, so Thian also wants to sleep hugging his wife. Even if he tells him to leave, he won’t. This Inspector is thicker-skinned than anyone thinks.
“P’Thian, let me down!” “Let! Me! Down!”
The Sergeant struggled in the strong arms, but it had no effect on the older man, who seemed to be enjoying the teasing. The young Inspector’s dark eyes still gazed at him with a mischievous and affectionate look, making the smooth face become even hotter.
“P-P’Thian, are you trying to take a mile when given an inch?” (Said with a cheeky tone) “I’m not trying to take an inch, but I do want Mangkon.”
“You crazy man!”
Mangkon yelled loudly, but the more he yelled, the more the older man laughed in amusement. He even tightened his grip, forcing him to stop moving because he didn’t want to fall to the ground.
Upon reaching the bedroom, the tall man gently placed the homeowner on the bed. But before Mangkon could stand up and escape, the large hand grabbed the small wrist and gently pulled him to sit beside him.
“I’m not kidding,” Thian said in a serious tone. Dark onyx eyes stared deeply into the pair of large, round eyes.
“I want to be with Mangkon. I want to take care of you. I want you to know that I love you.” “I already know, you crazy man.”
The word “love” made Mangkon’s heart beat so fast it almost leaped out of his chest. The feelings of resentment from before seemed to have melted away, leaving only reassurance and increasing flutter.
“I know,” he admitted. “And do *you* love me?”
“If I didn’t, would I be sitting here in this room?” “No fair, can you say it directly? I’m stupid.”
He’s not stupid; he’s called shrewd. Mangkon still didn’t speak. The person who was making sweet eyes and eagerly waiting to hear was still moving closer and closer and said in a soft, gentle voice.
“Don’t you love me at all, huh?”
“I guess you’ll have to be a widower for life, then.” “I won’t! Because I love you too!”
“That’s so encouraging!”
The young Inspector smiled widely immediately upon hearing the declaration of love. His sharp eyes sparkled with happiness, and he pulled Mangkon into a tight hug.
No matter what happens, he will never let the person in front of him disappear again. “I love you, Mangkon.”
The atmosphere at Mae Sai Police Station was livelier than ever. The image of Inspector Thian clinging to Sergeant Mangkon in the morning was still the same as before. However,
the pouting expression on the smooth face has disappeared, leaving only a smile coated on it.
Everyone in the police station knew what happened last night. Someone couldn’t stand wanting his wife back and confessed his love in the pouring rain.
“Go out with P’ to eat outside today, okay?”
Thian said, reaching out to hold the younger man’s hand, his voice so gentle it made the listener pause before a faint smile appeared from under the mask.
But those words made his best friend’s eyebrows furrow.
“P?” Phuwin repeated the word as if he couldn’t believe his ears. “Is something the matter, Inspector Phu?”
“No, I’m just surprised. I thought you only said things like that to girls.” “But right now, I’ll only say it to Mangkon, I have to apologize though.” “Ha!!”
Teasing burst out throughout the police station. Mangkon’s face turned hot and he had to quickly avoid the many pairs of eyes staring at him. Not knowing how to ease his embarrassment, he slapped Thain’s strong arm once.
“Ouch, Mangkon, that hurt!”
“It’s good that it hurts, so you’ll stop messing around.” “I’m not messing around. I’m serious. I love Mangkonx20; “P’Thian!”
Lukplub smiled at the two men’s new way of calling each other. Mangkon can finally be happy. He never thought these two would end up together, but it’s so suitable.
Mangkon walked away to the document storage room on the second floor, still being teased along the way. He wondered if he was right or wrong to give in to that cunning man.
“Embarrassed, P’Mangkon?” “Hey, Nong Plub.”
“Inspector Thian seems really infatuated with P’Mangkon.” “No, he’s not.” Or is he?
“Are you sure? You’re smiling so widely.”
The happiness was pouring out in every way, impossible to hide. How long has it been since his heart beat so fast and hard from loving someone? Besides, he never expected to be fulfilled with the person he fell in love with.
“P’Mangkon, are you ready yet?” “What do you mean, Nong Plub?”
The senior officer looked at the chubby face of the younger man, a little curious. It seemed like Lukplub had something he wanted to say.
“You know, about *that*.” “No, Nong Plub!”
“No need to be embarrassed!”
The smooth face turned red as if it was about to explode. The pair of round eyes widened, not expecting the seemingly well-behaved person to say it so bluntly. The younger man laughed a little at the senior’s reaction. He put his hand on the well-proportioned shoulder.
“It’s natural, you know. But it’s fulfilling and great.” “But I’ve never…”
The soft voice trailed off. If it was in the role of seller and customer, he had never. “There’s nothing difficult about it, P’Mangkon you’d be a little sore the first time.”
Thick saliva was swallowed down again. Suddenly, the image in the bathroom that day flashed through his head. But the inspector’s hands felt even better than he did himself. And, if he and Thian really have to do it this time….
“I can teach you, P’Mangkon,” “N-Nonsense, Nong Plub!” “I’m serious!”
“W-Well, what do I have to do?”
