The Second Young Master’s Obedient Husband : Chapter 34

Once he had recovered, Liang Yu brought in hot water to wipe them both down, then made food.

When the food was ready, Liang Yu carried it in from outside. Hot porridge, white flour buns, a plate of pickled vegetables, and a plate of spring vegetables stir fried with cured meat. Su Qingyu leaned against the headboard, wrapped in that new quilt, only his face showing, still carrying a bit of tiredness, but his spirits much better.

“Eat.” Liang Yu handed over the bowl, and sat on the edge of the bed.

Su Qingyu took the bowl, and lowered his head to drink porridge.

After the two of them had eaten, Liang Yu took the bowls and dishes out. When he came back in, he was carrying a charcoal brazier, the charcoal fire inside burning bright. He placed the brazier by the bed, and the room immediately grew warmer.

Su Qingyu was still leaning against the headboard, seeming to be in a daze, looking very well behaved.

Liang Yu looked at him like this, and a smile spread in his eyes. He walked over and got on the bed, reached out and lifted a corner of that quilt, and slipped inside. It was warm inside, still carrying Su Qingyu’s body warmth and that faint scent of scented cream.

He pulled the person into his arms, Liang Yu lowered his head and kissed the corner of his eye, and asked in a warm voice. “Still sore?”

Su Qingyu shook his head.

“Warm enough?”

Su Qingyu nodded, and shrank further into his arms. He turned over and hugged Liang Yu back, burying his head and rubbing against Liang Yu’s chest, again and again, like a kitten acting spoiled.

Liang Yu was rubbed by him until his heart itched, that place that had just been satisfied grew somewhat hot again, yet he couldn’t bear to let go of the person in his arms.

Warm fragrance and soft jade in one’s arms, this was probably what that scene described.

Liang Yu lowered his head and kissed Su Qingyu, not fierce, but extremely lingering, grinding bit by bit, exploring inch by inch, as if wanting to devour him whole, yet also as if reluctant to finish him all at once. Su Qingyu was kissed until his whole body went soft, both hands climbing onto his shoulders, lightly holding him.

The charcoal fire crackled once.

Liang Yu let go of his lips, moved downward, and slipped under the quilt.

Liang Yu opened his mouth, and took that warm soft sweetness into his mouth all at once.

Su Qingyu suddenly trembled, but didn’t dodge, holding Liang Yu’s head, raising his fine white neck, breathing heavily in a muffled way.

After a while, Su Qingyu couldn’t quite take it anymore, and called out to him in a soft voice. “Liang Yu…”

Only then did Liang Yu raise his head, looking at that face. Those eyes were covered in watery mist, lips slightly open, breathing, showing a bit of pink tongue tip.

Liang Yu licked his lips, swallowed what was in his mouth, turned over and covered him, pressing him down beneath his body.

Su Qingyu raised his head to look at him, his eyelashes trembling, those hands lightly resting on his shoulders, as if inviting.

Liang Yu leaned down over him.

The land of tender passion, the poison of love, the village man drunk in the beauty’s embrace, soft words and sweet phrases the lover returns.

When the last round ended, Su Qingyu was completely sprawled there, unable to even move his fingers.

Liang Yu was breathing heavily, lying on top of him, and only recovered after a good while. Lowering his head to look at him, that face was covered in tear tracks, burning hot in the dim light. Only then did Liang Yu remember to feel heartache for him.

He gently withdrew, turned over and got off the bed, went outside and brought in a basin of warm water. He wrung out the cloth, and wiped his body, wiping carefully, his movements especially gentle.

Su Qingyu let him handle him, unable to even lift his eyelids, only occasionally humming once to show he was still alive.

After wiping, Liang Yu threw the cloth back into the basin, pulled out the pad underneath and threw it into the basket together with the previous ones, got on the bed and pulled the person into his arms. That body was still soft, carrying a strong warm fragrance, curled up in his arms just right.

“Recovered yet?”

Su Qingyu shook his head, buried his face in his chest, and said something muffled. Liang Yu didn’t hear clearly, and lowered his head to lean closer. “What?”

“Water…” That voice was light as a mosquito’s buzz.

Liang Yu gave a low laugh, reached out and grabbed the tea bowl from the headboard, inside was cooled warm boiled water. He held Su Qingyu’s head, brought the rim of the bowl to his lips, and fed him bit by bit.

Su Qingyu drank a few mouthfuls, shook his head to show it was enough. Liang Yu put the bowl back, and pulled him into his arms again.

Liang Yu lowered his head to look at the person in his arms, and suddenly felt that this lifetime, this was it.

With this person keeping him company, in these deep mountains, in this wooden house, at home, even if the sky fell outside he wouldn’t be afraid.

Liang Yu stroked Su Qingyu’s spine, and said softly. “Sleep.”

Su Qingyu moved, shrank further into his arms, closed his eyes, and soon fell into a deep sleep.

The charcoal fire crackled once, then returned to silence.

When Su Qingyu woke, he didn’t know what time it was.

The light outside the window was bright and white, filtering in through the window paper.

He moved his body, that place ached fiercely, reminding him of last night’s wildness.

Su Qingyu recovered his strength for a while, and was just about to push himself up when the door was pushed open. Liang Yu came in carrying a wooden bowl, steam rising from the bowl, and the aroma of rice porridge.

“Awake?” Liang Yu put the bowl on the table, walked over and sat on the edge of the bed. “Perfect, wash up and eat.”

Su Qingyu sat up, that quilt sliding from his shoulder, revealing half a white smooth shoulder. He hurriedly pulled it up to wrap himself, his face burning hot.

Liang Yu looked at him like this, and a smile spread in his eyes. “What are you covering up, I’ve seen everywhere.” His tone carried open teasing.

Su Qingyu pressed his lips together, soft hair draped behind him, pink cheeks and red lips, brows and eyes carrying the look of spring.

Liang Yu looked until his heart itched, leaned over, and kissed him on the lips.

“Alright, get up and eat.” Liang Yu stood up, brought over the hot water. “Wash your face then eat.”

After Su Qingyu washed up and dressed, he got off the bed. His legs were so soft he almost couldn’t stand steady, and he steadied himself by holding the bed frame.

Liang Yu had already set out the food. Hot porridge, buns, pickled vegetables, and two boiled eggs. Seeing him like this, the corner of his lips curved up, he reached out and supported him, placed a soft cushion on the stool, and sat down by the table.

“Eat, you’ll have strength after eating.” Liang Yu peeled the egg, and put it in his bowl.

Su Qingyu lowered his head and silently drank porridge.

After eating, Liang Yu cleaned up the dishes. Su Qingyu stood by the window looking outside, the mountain scenery in the daylight was clear and distinct, the green on the treetops had grown thicker, birds singing and flowers fragrant, a unique scene of the deep mountains undisturbed by people.

“Want to go back?” Liang Yu walked back, standing behind him.

Su Qingyu nodded and said. “Afraid Mother will worry.”

Liang Yu circled his waist from behind, chin resting on his shoulder. “Alright, I’ll take you back.”

They packed their things, locked the wooden house door, and the two of them went down the mountain.

Liang Yu walked in front clearing the path, one hand steadily holding Su Qingyu. Su Qingyu followed behind, his legs still soft, walking slowly. Liang Yu didn’t rush him, only slowed his steps to wait.

When they reached the foot of the mountain, the sun had already tilted west.

Liang Yu saw him to the courtyard gate, kissed him. “Go back and rest well.”

Su Qingyu nodded, watched Liang Yu turn and leave, until that figure walked far away, turned past the alley entrance and disappeared from sight, then pushed open the courtyard gate and went in.

Mother Su heard the movement from inside the room, and asked. “Qingyu?”

“Mother, it’s me.” Su Qingyu lifted the door curtain and went in.

“You’re back? How was it?”

“Quite good. The mountains were quiet.”

Mother Su touched his face, then touched his hand, and suddenly paused. Su Qingyu lowered his head to look, and there was a red mark on his wrist, left from last night.

He hurriedly pulled his sleeve down, Su Qingyu’s ears went red.

Mother Su didn’t say anything, only sighed, and patted his hand. “Go rest, you look quite tired.”

Su Qingyu nodded, stood up and went out.

Returning to his own room, his body went soft the moment it touched the kang.

Closing his eyes, his mind was full of the scenes from that wooden house, and that person.

Su Qingyu turned over and groaned once, buried his face in the pillow and stopped moving.
