The Second Young Master’s Obedient Husband : Chapter 38

When he got back to his own courtyard, the sun was already tilting west.

Liang Yu had Shuanzi go to fetch the person. He himself heated a pot of water in the kitchen, washed from head to toe, changed into clean clothes, and sat in the courtyard waiting.

The courtyard gate sounded.

Su Qingyu came in, his face flushed red, his eyes carrying a bright light. Seeing Liang Yu sitting in the courtyard, he jogged a few steps then stopped, lowered his eyes, and walked over slowly.

“Second Brother Liang.”

Liang Yu stood up and pulled him into his arms in one go. The longing he had suppressed for months burst out all at once. Liang Yu lowered his head and kissed him for a long time, kissing until Su Qingyu’s legs went soft, his hands clutching Liang Yu’s clothes so he wouldn’t slide down.

After the kiss, neither of them wanted to separate. Liang Yu pressed his face against Su Qingyu’s and rubbed.

“Did you miss me?”

Su Qingyu nodded, and blushed again.

Liang Yu pulled out a small wooden box from his chest and handed it to Su Qingyu. “This is for you.”

Su Qingyu took it and opened it. Inside was a jade fish hairpin, the carving and the material were both good, glowing with a warm gentle light in the dusk.

Su Qingyu touched the hairpin, his heart beating even faster.

“Second Brother Liang, this is too precious…”

“Precious what? Put it on, let me see.”

Su Qingyu lowered his eyes, undid his hair ribbon, changed to the hairpin, and coiled a simple topknot. Red jade against white skin, impossibly beautiful.

Liang Yu stared for a moment, reached out and pulled him into his arms. “Beautiful.”

Su Qingyu lowered his head, his face burning hot with redness.

Liang Yu looked at the person in his arms and smiled, pulling him into the inner room.

The kang was covered with thick bedding, soft and warm. The door was closed, only a bit of light came through the window paper, the room hazy and dim.

This time, Su Qingyu was somewhat different from before, and Liang Yu quickly noticed.

When they kissed, those soft hands would go downward, touching his waist, touching his stomach, touching until a person’s heart itched.

Liang Yu lowered his head and bit that thoroughly reddened face. His thin lips pressed against the side of Su Qingyu’s face, licking and kissing. Sweat slid down his jaw, dripping onto Su Qingyu’s body, his breathing growing increasingly heavy.

“What’s with you today?”

Su Qingyu shook his head, always buried in Liang Yu’s arms, not daring to lift his head to look at him, his ears red enough to drip blood.

Liang Yu stared at him for a few breaths, let out a light laugh and didn’t ask anymore, lowered his head and kissed him.

This time he took it fiercely, but there was something more than before.

Su Qingyu tried the things he had seen in those booklets. With each thing he tried, Liang Yu’s reaction grew stronger by one degree.

The breathing grew heavier and heavier, the strength in his hands grew greater and greater, tormenting the person until they were half dead and half alive.

In the end Liang Yu still couldn’t hold back his strength, going wild to the point of nearly breaking the person apart.

When it was over, Su Qingyu lay on the kang, his whole body soft as if he had no bones, tear drops still hanging on his eyelashes, his lips swollen, pitiful and wretched. Liang Yu lay to the side catching his breath. After quite a while he reached out and pulled the person into his arms, kissing his face.

“These days, you’ve learned quite a lot.”

His voice was full of satisfaction and the joy of being treated with care.

Su Qingyu kept his face buried, his body red all over.

Liang Yu deliberately teased him, “Where did you learn it?”

Su Qingyu shook his head, unwilling to say.

Liang Yu let out a low laugh, didn’t force him, just held him tighter, his large hand stroking that slender thin back again and again.

The room quieted down, only the sound of two people’s breathing.

After quite a while, Su Qingyu recovered his strength, raised his face and looked at him with begging eyes. “Second Brother Liang, did you like it?”

Liang Yu was startled, lowered his head and kissed him, speaking directly. “I liked it.”

Su Qingyu’s eyes brightened, buried his face back into that chest, the curve at the corner of his lips impossible to press down.

Liang Yu hugged that soft and fluffy body, thinking of what had just happened, that urge starting to rise up again a bit.

“Rested enough?”

Su Qingyu’s body stiffened, then went soft again, gave a soft mm.

Liang Yu laughed, turned over and pressed down on him.

The light coming through the window slowly darkened, the sky grew dark.

When the room had darkened, the two of them finally truly rested.

Su Qingyu lay on the kang, his whole body too soft to lift a single finger, the base of his thighs burning hot, couldn’t help feeling a bit regretful, yet in his heart it was truly all joy.

Outside it was completely dark, in the room you couldn’t see your hand in front of your face. The window paper couldn’t let in moonlight, today was overcast, as if it was going to rain, distant thunder rumbled a few times.

Su Qingyu moved, shrank further into Liang Yu’s arms.

“Afraid of thunder?”

Su Qingyu shook his head, yet shrank even tighter.

Liang Yu held him tighter, his chin rubbing against the top of Su Qingyu’s head, saying with a light laugh, “If you’re afraid, just say it, it’s not embarrassing.”

Su Qingyu was silent for a while then said, “When I was little fleeing famine, once there was a heavy rain, thunder, hiding in a broken temple, lightning struck the old tree at the temple entrance, caught a huge fire…”

His voice grew lighter and lighter, didn’t continue.

Liang Yu didn’t speak, just held him even tighter.

After quite a while, Su Qingyu suddenly asked, “Second Brother Liang, what are you afraid of?”

Liang Yu was startled, thought and said, “Nothing to be afraid of.”

Su Qingyu lifted his head to look at him, in the night too dark, only a silhouette could be seen.

“What about when fighting?”

Liang Yu was silent for a while then said, “Then I was afraid of dying. Afraid of dying and not coming back.”

Su Qingyu’s heart clenched upon hearing it, buried his face back and rubbed against that chest.

“And after?”

“After that I wasn’t afraid anymore.” Liang Yu’s voice sounded somewhat different in the dark, “I figured it out, if you’re meant to die you can’t avoid it, if you’re not meant to die you can’t die no matter what.”

Su Qingyu gave a soft mm, didn’t ask anymore.

Outside it started to rain, pattering, hitting the ground in the courtyard, rustling.

Su Qingyu listened to that rain sound, suddenly said, “Second Brother Liang, do you think, after a person dies, where do they go?”

Liang Yu lowered his head to look at him, was silent for a moment then said, “Don’t know.” His voice paused, seeming to feel somewhat perfunctory, and added another sentence, “Haven’t died yet.”

Su Qingyu couldn’t help laughing, the stuffy feeling in his heart scattered quite a bit.

Liang Yu heard that laugh, lowered his head and bit him in mock anger.

“Why ask this?”

“Just wanted to know.”

Liang Yu thought and said, “My mother said, good people are rewarded, go to good places when they die, evil people go to hell.”

Su Qingyu was silent for a while then said, “Then what about Second Brother Liang? Good place or hell?”

Liang Yu laughed, saying carelessly, “Me? Probably hell.”

Su Qingyu lifted his head, saying seriously, “Second Brother Liang is a good person.”

Liang Yu was startled, lowered his head to look at him, although in the night he couldn’t see clearly, he knew those eyes must be full of seriousness, stubborn as could be.

Liang Yu smiled and pinched Su Qingyu’s face. “Only you think I’m a good person.”

Su Qingyu buried his face back, his voice muffled, “It’s true.”

Liang Yu didn’t speak anymore, just kept holding him, as if holding some treasure, unwilling to let go.

After quite a while, Su Qingyu asked, “Second Brother Liang, when are you going back up the mountain?”

Liang Yu thought, “Rest two days, leave when the rain stops.”

Su Qingyu gave a soft mm, didn’t ask anymore.

Liang Yu lowered his head and kissed him, his voice carrying a mischievous smile, “Can’t bear to part?”

Su Qingyu didn’t speak, just buried his face even deeper.

“In a few days, when it’s not so busy, I’ll spend more time with you.”

Su Qingyu rubbed against him, finally stopped moving.

Outside the rain grew heavier and heavier, the whole world filled with the sound of wind and rain.

Inside it was warm and cozy, the two people holding each other close, leaning on one another.
