The Second Young Master’s Obedient Husband : Chapter 55

The mountain was quiet and peaceful, with no one coming by on ordinary days. When Liang Yu returned from hunting, Su Qingyu would have the meal ready and waiting. After eating, the two of them would sit side by side in the courtyard, watching the sun slowly set. Liang Yu would hold him and kiss him, and before long his hands would wander, touching and caressing until they ended up in the bedroom.

With no one around in the mountains, they could do as they pleased whenever they wanted. The young couple was still in that clingy newlywed phase, so they had no reservations about their activities.

One time, Su Qingyu was picking beans in the vegetable patch when Liang Yu came up from behind and wrapped his arms around his waist. Su Qingyu jumped in surprise, turned around to glare at him, then lowered his head and continued picking with a red face.

But Liang Yu’s hands were not behaving themselves. As he held him, his hands slipped inside Su Qingyu’s clothes, kneading until Su Qingyu’s legs went weak. Su Qingyu couldn’t keep picking beans, so he leaned back against him and let him continue, saying softly, “Husband… it’s still daylight.”

Liang Yu lowered his head to kiss his ear and coaxed him, “No one can see.”

Su Qingyu’s face turned completely red, but he said nothing more. He let Liang Yu remove his clothes and enter him from behind, biting his lip to suppress his sounds. In broad daylight, his body was tense as a bowstring.

When it was over, Su Qingyu went soft in his arms, his clothes loose and disheveled, his eyes full of springtime charm as he shot him a reproachful look. Liang Yu felt heated up all over again from that glare, and he kissed him for a long while before finally helping him dress.

Another time, it happened in the kitchen. Su Qingyu was cooking when Liang Yu came back from outside, reeking of sweat. Su Qingyu heard the sound and looked up. Seeing him covered in sweat, he said, “The hot water on the stove is ready. Go carry it out and wash up. The food will be done soon.”

Liang Yu didn’t go. He insisted on coming closer and hugged him from behind. “Do you think I’m dirty? If we’re both dirty together, you won’t mind anymore.”

With that, he held Su Qingyu and rubbed against him even more. Su Qingyu pushed at him in annoyance. “Hurry up and let go. The food is going to burn.”

Liang Yu only made a sound of acknowledgment and didn’t let go. Instead, he turned Su Qingyu around and pressed him against the stove edge.

The fire in the stove was burning bright, casting the overlapping shadows of the two figures. The vegetables in the wok sizzled, and a burnt smell drifted out. Su Qingyu couldn’t mind the food anymore. He wrapped his arms around Liang Yu’s neck, bit his lip hard, and when he smelled the burning, he bit him in anger. Liang Yu laughed as he held him, reached out to extinguish the fire, and only then did the person in his arms relax his bite and go soft.

That evening, dinner was late, and the vegetables were a bit burnt, but the two of them ate with relish.

After the meal, Su Qingyu cleared the dishes, and Liang Yu heated water for a bath. After washing up and getting into bed, the two of them lay down side by side.

Su Qingyu leaned against Liang Yu’s chest and couldn’t fall asleep for a while. He propped his hand on Liang Yu’s chest muscles and traced them absently, making Liang Yu’s Adam’s apple bob continuously. Liang Yu caught his mischievous hand and kissed it. “Still not sleeping?”

Su Qingyu shook his head and buried his face in Liang Yu’s chest without speaking.

Liang Yu slipped his hand inside Su Qingyu’s clothes and rubbed his waist. Su Qingyu shrank away from the touch, then nestled closer into his arms. After a while, he said, “Husband, when are we going down the mountain?”

Liang Yu looked down at him. “Why?”

Su Qingyu rubbed against his chest. “I want to go back and see Mother.”

Liang Yu made a sound of acknowledgment. “We’ll go tomorrow.”

Su Qingyu raised his head and kissed him on the chin, then buried his face back into his chest.

The next day, the two of them went to town to sell their things, ate lunch, and then returned to the village to visit Su’s mother.

Su’s mother was much healthier now. She raised a few chickens, tended a small vegetable garden, and was getting along quite happily on her own.

In the afternoon, the courtyard was always lively. Su’s mother and several women and husbands would sit together doing needlework, laughing and chatting. When the young couple came in, they would always tease them a bit. Su Qingyu had thin skin and would always be teased until his face was red. Liang Yu didn’t come to his rescue. He stood nearby admiring his husband’s shy appearance, laughing without any conscience at all. Su Qingyu was both embarrassed and angry. Sometimes when he got too mad, he would secretly pinch Liang Yu’s waist in the dark. But Liang Yu’s waist and abdomen were all solid muscle, and Su Qingyu couldn’t pinch hard enough to hurt him, which made him even angrier. He turned his face away and refused to look at him. Then Liang Yu would take his hand and coax him. The couple was incredibly sweet.

When the two of them came to see Su’s mother, the women and husbands didn’t stay long before leaving. Su’s mother was very happy to see them return, pulling them aside to ask all sorts of questions. Su Qingyu handed the prepared silver and mountain goods to Su’s mother, but she refused to take them, so he forced them on her. The mother and son pushed back and forth, and later Liang Yu also spoke up to persuade her. Only then did Su’s mother accept. In the evening, Su’s mother personally cooked and kept them for dinner. When they left, she always insisted on stuffing them with things: her own pickled vegetables, the chickens and ducks she raised, and so on. Only when she saw them take the items would she let them go.

That evening, the two of them returned to stay at the Liang family home. After washing up and getting into bed, Su Qingyu leaned against Liang Yu’s chest and thought about what happened that afternoon. The more he thought about it, the angrier he got. He turned around and bit the one spot on Liang Yu’s chest that was actually sensitive.

Liang Yu sucked in a breath from the bite. He gathered Su Qingyu’s hair and tugged it gently, then flipped over and pinned him down, properly teaching the little man who was acting like a puppy a lesson. The little man couldn’t stop begging for mercy, and Liang Yu’s heart softened at the sound of his voice. He stopped to let him catch his breath.

Once he had recovered, the little man bit the other side in defiance. Now both sides were swollen and symmetrical. The little man was thoroughly taught a lesson that night, and the next day he could barely get out of bed.

On the day they returned from the mountain, there were two fluffy things added to Liang Yu’s back basket.

Su Qingyu walked behind, looking at the two little heads that poked out from the basket from time to time, feeling both soft and amused inside. Those two little things had been restless the whole way, squeezing and pushing each other, occasionally letting out a few yelps in their babyish voices.

When they reached the wooden cabin and set down the basket, the two little things couldn’t wait to climb out. They were plump and round, with gray brown fur, their ears not yet standing upright. They were very curious and not shy at all. Their little paws stepped on the ground as they looked around in every direction, full of spirit.

Su Qingyu squatted down and reached out to pet them. The two little puppies came over to sniff his fingers, their little tails wagging happily. Su Qingyu looked at the two little puppies and adored them beyond words.

Liang Yu stood nearby watching with a smile. He teased Su Qingyu by scratching his chin as if he were teasing a puppy. Su Qingyu squinted his eyes from the scratching, and after a while he finally reacted. He looked up and glared at Liang Yu.

Liang Yu chuckled and picked him up, kissed him, and said, “Now we have two more puppies. It’ll save you from getting bored staying in the courtyard. Shanfeng can also go out for a run and get some air. The two puppies can guard the house, and when they grow up they can help with hunting too. When I’m not around, having dogs will put my mind more at ease.”

Su Qingyu raised his head and kissed Liang Yu. His eyes were wet and sparkling, making one’s heart go soft.

Liang Yu held him and kissed him again and again, loving him beyond measure.
