The cool beauty forcibly bids for top A: Chapter 23
Shen Yanzhou was pinned by Sanqianwan against the damp, moss-covered wall. The man used his warm lips to block his lips, not letting him make a single sound.
Only a wall separated them.
“Young Master Fu,” Shen Xiuming muttered suspiciously, poking his head into the pitch-black alley, his tone dripping with schadenfreude. “That silhouette just now, it really looked like my brother.”
“Do you think my brother, who usually acts all high and mighty and won’t let anyone touch a single finger, is actually sexually frustrated in private? Could he have specifically come to a dirty place like this to find some random guy to hook up with?”
In the darkness, Shen Yanzhou felt his body stiffen for a moment. This cousin of his was utterly useless. From childhood until now, he insisted on competing with him over everything and was dying of jealousy, yet he always thought of him first whenever trouble arose.
Being humiliated behind his back by Shen Xiuming like this made him feel somewhat uncomfortable.
The man holding him noticed the discomfort of the person in his arms. A flash of brutal murderous intent crossed his eyes, and the hand originally resting on his waist moved to his shoulder, gently comforting him.
“Shen Xiuming, is your brain filled with mush?”
“Why would your brother come to a place like this? Let alone kissing a random guy here, just making him stand here would probably make him throw up on the spot,” Fu Sihan replied.
He smoked a Cuban cigar, reminiscing about his fiancé through the smoke. That man was truly beautiful and refined, with a faint scent of white roses on him. Those who were taller than him weren’t as slender, and those who were more slender didn’t have legs as straight as his. Especially that face, it was absolutely flawless.
His waist was so thin.
Even the wine he drank tasted sweet.
A person like that was born to live at Victoria Peak, so how could he possibly come to a flashy, neon-lit neighborhood like this?
Sanqianwan lowered his head, using the dim moonlight to look at this white rose grown in a greenhouse within his arms.
His silver hair was messed up by the wind, with a few damp strands clinging to his cheeks. He looked pale and soft, like a glutinous rice ball, the corners of his eyes flushed red as he loosely clutched the man’s clothes.
He looked incredibly vulnerable, which only made the man unable to resist kissing him even deeper.
The conversation at the alley entrance continued.
“Yes, yes, yes, Young Master Fu is right,” Shen Xiuming smiled nervously, changing the subject. “Have the arrangements for the day after tomorrow been made?”
“That shipment isn’t something you should touch,” Fu Sihan flicked his cigarette ash. “That is, it hasn’t circulated in the market yet, as long as…”
“Don’t worry, Young Master Fu. It is just that this stuff is contraband after all. If the police department gets wind of it, when the time comes, the blame…”
As they reached the crucial part, their voices became intermittent and unclear.
Shen Yanzhou strained to listen closely, but he could only catch the general idea.
Sure enough, seeing that the shipment wouldn’t fly with him, Fu Sihan had approached Shen Xiuming. If something went wrong, these two guys were actually plotting to make him take the fall.
The two whispered about who knows what for a bit longer before finally walking out of the alley entrance.
Once the footsteps of those two could no longer be heard at all, Shen Yanzhou turned his head away.
Ending this long, deep kiss, the sudden rush of air into his lungs made him cough, leaving the corners of his eyes filled with tears.
“Get off me.”
He pushed the man away forcefully, his chest heaving heavily. His thin lips, which usually uttered nothing but cold words, were now red and swollen, glistening with a vibrant sheen. The center of his upper lip bore a deep red mark from being thoroughly nibbled by teeth, parting slightly to reveal a glimpse of his white teeth.
Shen Yanzhou glared at him in embarrassed anger, raising the back of his hand to wipe the corners of his mouth firmly.
Sanqianwan stumbled back half a step from the push. Like a large dog caught red-handed doing something wrong by its owner, his head instantly drooped. A massive guy nearly two meters tall, he actually managed to curl himself up, his dark eyes nervously stealing glances at Shen Yanzhou as he spoke in a hoarse, panicked voice:
“I am sorry, Master, I am sorry.”
He carefully leaned forward half an inch, extending a rough fingertip to hover right by Shen Yanzhou’s lips. He wanted to touch but did not dare to, his eyes filled with deep concern and self-reproach:
“They were right outside just now, I was too nervous and afraid you would make a sound and get caught, so I couldn’t control my strength.”
He pursed his lips, looking at the swelling, pouted aggrievedly, and mumbled softly:
“It seems, I really kissed them until they swelled up.”
“It is all my fault.”
“Master, does it hurt? Can I, can I rub it for you?”
As he spoke, he was about to reach out with that large hand, which had ruined things despite good intentions, to touch Shen Yanzhou’s lips.
“No need.”
Shen Yanzhou slapped his hand away with a loud smack and glared at him fiercely. “Are you born in the year of the dog? All you know how to do is bite?”
“I…” Sanqianwan ducked his head at the scolding, the light in his eyes instantly dimming as he looked incredibly pitiful. “I am Master’s dog.”
“Enough, let us leave quickly.”
Sanqianwan pursed his lips and did not dare to cross the line again. Tucking his tail, he obediently followed right behind Shen Yanzhou, keeping pace with him, though those dark eyes remained glued to him the entire time, never wavering.
Stepping out of the cramped, oppressive dead-end alley, the night belonging to Temple Street was just getting started. Precariously hanging neon signs read Yuen Kee Cha Tsa, Kam Do Sauna, Fat Choy Mahjong Parlor, and distorted old Cantonese songs floated out from time to time.
“Rarely does one possess such great skills, yet the hurdle of love can never be passed…”
The open-air food stalls by the roadside were at their liveliest. Folding tables stretched all the way into the middle of the street, and bare-chested men rested their feet on plastic stools, holding Blue Girl beers as they loudly shouted curses while playing drinking games.
“Damn it! Drink up!”
“Get rich! Get rich!”
Shen Yanzhou only wanted to get back to the car as fast as possible.
Suddenly, the footsteps behind him vanished.
Sensing something was wrong, he stopped and turned around impatiently, only to see Sanqianwan halted in front of an open-air food stall, his eyes locked onto the underside of a tricycle used for hauling food waste right next to the stall.
Suppressing the irritation in his heart, Shen Yanzhou walked back.
“What is wrong with you?”
The man slowly raised his head, and surprisingly, his eyes were red.
“Master, look at it.”
Following his gaze, Shen Yanzhou saw a squirming, yellowish mass under the tricycle.
It was a stray dog.
The most common type of mutt on the streets of Hong Kong, worthless and unloved.
But this one was in a truly miserable state. It was skin and bones, its ribs clearly visible one by one. Its fur was thin and patchy, stained with black engine oil, and its left hind leg was twisted outward, clearly having been broken for a long time.
It was struggling to scrape the ground with its two front paws, trying to reach half a fish ball that had been stepped on and covered in muddy water.
With a splash, an old man washing dishes at the stall threw out a scoop of dirty pot water, soaking the dog completely.
“Stupid dog! Trying to steal food again!” The old man held a long-handled iron ladle, striking it hard against the tricycle tire with loud metallic clangs. “Get lost! Just looking at you ruins my appetite!”
The little dog shuddered from the heat, letting out a very faint whimper.
It wanted to run, but its broken leg made it very slow. It could only awkwardly drag itself across the ground, its belly scraping against the rough concrete and leaving a faint trail of blood.
It looked up at the person driving it away, its eyes cloudy and moist, showing no resentment, only resignation to its fate.
It seemed long accustomed to such treatment.
Being beaten, kicked, and having dirty water thrown on it. This was its life.
“Stop looking, let us go,” he said.
In this city, dogs like this died in dark corners every single day.
Shen Yanzhou was no savior. He could not rescue every stray dog.
Yet the moment he turned around, someone tugged at the corner of his coat.
“Master.” Sanqianwan did not let go.
“There is a Number Eight Typhoon tonight, can we bring it home?” The man turned his head to look at Shen Yanzhou.
“Its leg is broken, so it cannot crawl far. If we leave it here, it will drown when the water rises.”
“Can I, can I take it back?” The man released his grip on the corner of Shen Yanzhou’s coat and made a small, cautious gesture.
“It is very small and eats very little.”
“I will wash it completely clean, scrub it ten times with disinfectant, and comb its fur smooth. I won’t let it have any smell at all.”
“I won’t let it inside the house. I will let it sleep in the garden storage shed, even a cardboard box is fine.”
“Master, please.”
Shen Yanzhou looked at him.
He watched this man humble himself completely down to the dirt just for a dog he didn’t even know.
Acting as a dog for someone else, yet he still felt bad for another dog.
Keeping one dog was already trouble enough, and now he wanted to keep two.
“What a hassle,” Shen Yanzhou turned his face away and walked forward without looking back, tossing out, “There is a cardboard box in the back of the car. Put it inside, and absolutely do not let it wander out to get my car dirty.”
“Yes, Master,” the man replied excitedly.
Sanqianwan carefully placed the cardboard box containing the filthy little dog on the floorboard of the back seat. The puppy was very well-behaved, staying completely quiet without making a fuss.
The puppy looked at Sanqianwan, and Sanqianwan looked at the puppy.
The puppy’s eyes were just about the same size as Sanqianwan’s.
Only after finishing all this did he walk back around to sit in the passenger seat.
Shen Yanzhou leaned back in the driver’s seat, resting with his eyes closed. He looked exhausted, a weary paleness covering his delicate face, except for his lips which had just been thoroughly kissed and remained deeply flushed.
“Once we get back, take it to the pet hospital first for a full checkup. Do not miss a single required vaccine.”
“Yes, Master.”
“Also, have them look at its leg to see if it can be set.”
“Yes, Master.”
“And give it a bath, buy it some dog food. Do not let it stay too dirty, and do not let it go hungry.”
“Yes, Master.”
Even though he clearly detested dirty things and hated trouble, Shen Yanzhou still laid out every single arrangement for the sake of this little dog.
Sanqianwan turned sideways, resting his elbow on the center console, staring unblinkingly at Shen Yanzhou’s profile with his dark eyes. The smile in his eyes slowly overflowed, growing deeply profound.
Feeling somewhat uncomfortable, Shen Yanzhou opened his eyes, only to run right into those smiling, puppy-dog eyes.
It was that intense, direct gaze once again.
“What are you looking at?” Shen Yanzhou gave him a blustering glare. “Stop looking at me with those disgusting eyes.”
“Oh.”
The man sat up straight, but his gaze could not help but fall back on Shen Yanzhou, his eyes turning somewhat dark and unreadable.
“Master…”
“At the mouth of the alley just now, was that your brother?”
Shen Yanzhou snapped crossly, “Who else could it be? No one else is that tedious.”
“Then who was the other man? I smelled it, he had a very strong scent of rum on him.”
“It was the same scent that was on you that day, Master.”
“So, was that the man you met that day, Master?” The man’s hands clenched into fists.
“My fiancé,” Shen Yanzhou said casually. Since everyone in Hong Kong knew anyway, there was no harm in telling him.
The man kept his head down, making it impossible to read his tone.
“Master, do you know what kind of place Temple Street is? Aside from the open-air food stalls, most people go there just to do that sort of thing.”
Shen Yanzhou turned his head to look at the man. “They are both alphas. No matter how desperate they get, they won’t sleep together.”
“Master, the alley was so dark just now, the streetlights were broken, and he and your brother were hiding there, standing so close together.”
“I saw the way your brother looked at him, his eyes were practically dripping with desire.”
“And, they even said something about meeting at the usual spot.”
Sanqianwan blinked his big, innocent eyes and asked with total sincerity, “Master, are you sure they don’t have some kind of special relationship?”
“I have heard that some wealthy families can be quite wild. Could it be that your fiancé doesn’t actually like omegas at all? Maybe he prefers alphas, and since he hasn’t tried it before, he wants to look for something new.”
The man sighed, looking at Shen Yanzhou with deep concern. “Master, you are clearly so beautiful, I think your fiancé must be completely blind.”
“Heh.” Shen Yanzhou let out a soft, cold chuckle, though there was no anger of betrayal in his eyes.
To him, Fu Sihan was merely someone tied to him for mutual benefit. Whether this person slept with omegas, betas, or alphas in private, or how many people he slept with, even if he got together with his good-for-nothing brother, it had nothing to do with him.
On the contrary, if those two really had some shady business going on, an idiot like Shen Xiuming would probably be sold out by Fu Sihan and still help him count the money.
“What a mess.”
Shen Yanzhou rubbed the space between his eyebrows, not wanting to continue this sickening topic.
“Alright, stop asking so many questions and buckle your seatbelt.” As Shen Yanzhou spoke, he reached out to pull the seatbelt beside him.
However, before his fingertips could even touch the buckle, his wrist was caught by a scalding large hand. The man scooped him up out of the driver’s seat. In the cramped space of the car, he was forced to straddle the man’s lap, the two facing each other, nose to nose.
“Sanqianwan! What are you doing?!” Shen Yanzhou tried to struggle, but found the man holding him tightly, as if desperate to pull him into his very bones and blood.
Their bodies were pressed incredibly close. He could clearly feel the man’s tense frame pressing hard against him, wanting to break through the two thin layers of clothing.
“Master…” The man looked up, his dark eyes misted over with a nearly pathological obsession and coaxing allure.
As he slowly and sensually ground his heat against him, he leaned close to Shen Yanzhou’s ear, his voice low and raspy, “Look, your fiancé is already acting like that.”
“He is so filthy, yet he wants to plot against you and even sleep with others.”
“And on top of that, this person is your brother.”
His palm caressed Shen Yanzhou’s back, sliding along the smooth, delicate skin of his nape. “So, you shouldn’t feel any guilt either, Master, alright?”
“Just look at it as getting revenge on him.”
“Master, use me to your heart’s content, alright?”
The caress left Shen Yanzhou tingling all over, forcing him to clutch the man’s shoulders.
“Stop talking, let me down. I need to drive back.”
He wanted to scold him, but the voice that came out was completely soft and weak.
“Fine, I won’t say it.”
The man let out a low chuckle, taking his flushed earlobe into his mouth. His tongue licked the small earring while his teeth gently grazed the skin.
“I won’t say it, I will just do it, alright?” His hands grew restless, eagerly trying to undo the buttons of Shen Yanzhou’s shirt, wanting to leave his own mark on that snow-white chest.
Shen Yanzhou’s breathing became completely ragged from his actions. He was forced to arch his neck, trying to push him away with force.
Just then.
Sanqianwan’s movements in the crook of his neck came to a halt.
He still held Shen Yanzhou tightly, nuzzling the beautiful person in his arms, his nose lightly catching the pleasant scent of roses on him. Yet his eyes, which had been full of desire just a moment ago, looked out the car window coldly over Shen Yanzhou’s shoulder.
A tall, slender figure holding a black umbrella was slowly walking past this Maybach parked by the roadside.
On the wrist holding the umbrella, that person wore a string of prayer beads.
He seemed to notice something, his footsteps pausing slightly as he turned his head to glance at the vehicle through the curtain of rain and the tinted windows.
Had he simply leaned down to knock on the window, he would have seen his fiancé disheveled and straddling the lap of another man he absolutely detested, the corners of his eyes flushed, legs parted, with even his breathing carrying an alluring scent.
But assuming it was just another couple unable to hold back their desires and having a tryst on a rainy night in Temple Street, he did not linger. He indifferently withdrew his gaze, gripped his string of prayer beads, and turned to walk away.
Inside the car.
The man stared intently at the departing back, his gaze turning even more sinister and frenzied.
He turned Shen Yanzhou’s face back, forcing him to look only at him, allowing him to have eyes for no one else.
Their gazes crashed together violently inside the dim, cramped interior of the vehicle.
Staring into the man’s dark pupils, Shen Yanzhou saw his own infatuated, enraptured reflection.
“Master, I am sorry, let me hold you just a little longer, alright?” The man drew close, nose to nose.
“Your fiancé, he is looking at this car.”
“He is right outside, less than half a meter away from us.”
