Mr. Dior : Chapter 5: The President’s Millionaire Bride (5)

The president, having failed to deliver the check, was a bit unhappy. Sulking, he shoved his “little wife” into the passenger seat to drive him to the company, calculating that he definitely had to teach him a lesson today.

The moment they stepped into the private elevator, Jiao Qi was pinned against the wall by his lover, who fervently blocked his lips with a kiss.

“Zhang Da Diao !” Jiao Qi mumbled as he tried to push him away.

“Don’t move, there’s a camera in here,” the president boasted, teasingly intimidating him while rubbing against his soft lips.

Zhang Chenfei was taller than Jiao Qi and had a broader frame, allowing him to wrap his “little wife” up completely, much like a Russian nesting doll. Feeling the body in his arms trembling, the president became even more smug and bullied him in a husky voice: “Tell me, if I f*ck you here, what kind of reaction will the secretaries have when the elevator doors open in a moment?”

The scenario was genuinely stimulating. Jiao Qi couldn’t help but blush and coughed dryly: “This is a high-speed elevator. Are you sure three seconds is enough for you to take off your pants?”

“Hah! Man, how dare you provoke me! Even if you cry until your voice goes hoarse later, I won’t stop!”

The plump secretary, Yu Yuan, was already waiting at the door of the president’s office with a stack of documents, chatting animatedly with Zhang Chenfei’s three secretaries.

“Yuanyuan, your style is quite different from everyone else at Bajiao,” the female secretary, Su Su, poked Yu Yuan’s soft, fleshy cheek and clicked her tongue in wonder.

Bajiao referred to Jiao Qi’s company. It started as an online video platform and later developed the “Bajiao Live” service, becoming a leader in the new media industry. Although it was a trendy and lively industry, the internal atmosphere of Bajiao was rigorous and orderly, all thanks to their meticulous Virgo boss.

“Right? People in our company think so too,” Yu Yuan laughed with a simple, honest look. “At last year’s annual meeting, they awarded me the ‘Bajiao Warrior’ prize. Hey, speaking of which, the plans for this year’s annual meeting have already started; should our two companies hold it together?” The administrative department had begun asking for opinions the day before yesterday, and Yu Yuan hadn’t replied yet. Seeing the people from Shifei today, a sudden inspiration had struck him.

“Maybe… better not,” the three secretaries shook their heads in unison like bobbleheads. They didn’t want the Shifei annual meeting to turn into a session of the National People’s Congress.

As they spoke, the elevator signaled its arrival. Everyone instinctively straightened their legs, preparing to bow and offer greetings. The doors opened, revealing the president’s back tall, upright, and resembling a supermodel.

*Clatter!* A heavy, expensive belt buckle hit the floor along with his crisp suit pants, instantly exposing honey-colored legs and black boxer briefs.

The world went quiet at that moment.

“Look, a plane!” Yu Yuan shouted. The three secretaries quickly turned their heads to face the wall—which didn’t even have windows—and because they turned so fast, a series of “cracks” sounded from their protesting cervical vertebrae.

Mr. Dior maintained his pose, letting the elevator doors slowly close. It turned out that “elevator play” wasn’t a good idea, given that the president’s high-end suit pants had an excellent drape.

When they stepped out of the elevator again, everyone acted as if they had amnesia, refusing to mention the scene that had just transpired. Because President Jiao proposed to work there for a period, the efficient secretary pool quickly placed a new desk next to the president’s. They finally had the honor of seeing how “Bajiao Warrior” Comrade Yu Yuan worked.

“These are large financial invoices that need payment.”

“This is the seventh draft of the planning department’s proposal.”

“The renewal of the streamer ‘Conscience Fed to the Dogs’ hasn’t been finalized. He’s demanding a 30 million signing bonus, or else he’s going to jump to ‘Big Face Live.’ The finance department’s data shows that adding 30 million would still hit the expected profit point, but it would exceed the compensation package of ‘Little Fatty.’ Director Liang’s idea is to be flexible and move that 30 million into an endorsement bonus.”

Jiao Qi gripped his signature pen and was silent for a moment: “Let him get lost. Add 50 million and sign ‘Demon King’ from Big Face instead.”

“Understood.” Yu Yuan smiled and agreed, completely unaffected by the cold air radiating from Jiao Qi.

Jiao Qi’s efficiency was high; in less than an hour, he had processed all the documents that needed review. The little fatty wiggled his flexible body as he organized the items and packed them into his bag: “There’s a meeting at 2:00 PM; I’ll come by car to pick you up. Do you need me to accompany you for lunch?”

Zhang Chenfei hadn’t heard the preceding conversation, but he caught that phrase “accompany you for lunch” and his gaze immediately turned cold. Flirting with his little wife right in front of him? This fatty with all that pork on him must be looking for trouble!

“No need,” Jiao Qi waved his hand and began looking at the Shifei documents handed over by Su Su.

Su Su looked at the little fatty with an expression of worship daring to accompany President Jiao for lunch, what a god-tier human! The little fatty winked at her, lifted his chin—which was seamlessly fused with his neck and left with his head held high.

“President, President Li is here.” It was the same President Li whose appointment had been rejected yesterday.

“Oh, President Jiao is here too,” President Li greeted Jiao Qi with a smile. The secretary brought in tea and the staff retreated, pulling the door shut behind them.

“What are you here for?” Zhang Chenfei was displeased to see this man greet his “little wife” first upon entering.

“I heard you want to buy ‘Little Jasmine,’ so I came to discuss it with you,” President Li said with a grin.

Little Jasmine was a game studio that had recently developed a girls-oriented AI brain game, which was very popular. However, the studio was small and couldn’t handle the subsequent expansion, so they were seeking outside investment. Shifei Tech had taken a fancy to the game but didn’t intend to invest; they wanted to simply and crudely buy the entire studio. But Shifei Tech primarily made competitive games, whereas President Li’s “Handsome Games” mostly focused on girls-oriented games, making it a better fit to swallow up Little Jasmine.

“So?” Zhang Chenfei raised an eyebrow, staring unkindly at President Li’s annoying peach-blossom eyes.

“So, both sides driving up the price isn’t good. I want to make a deal: you let me have Little Jasmine, then Shifei takes a stake, and we develop it together.”

“Hah! Li Yingjun, do you think I don’t know what you’re thinking?” Zhang Chenfei sneered. Hearing the words “let me have it,” the flames on top of his head shot up to the ceiling. Don’t think he didn’t know on the surface, this man wanted to snatch Little Jasmine, but in reality, he was trying to snatch his “little wife.”

“I laid eyes on this first, so it can only be mine. For a studio this small, Shifei doesn’t do joint development. If you want it, let’s see who has the ability!” His words were blunt and went entirely against the business principle of “don’t easily offend people.”

The air froze for a moment.

“Haha, ahaha, alright, alright then.” Li Yingjun was stunned by such a cool line, awkwardly rubbed his nose, and stood up to leave.

Jiao Qi glared at his lover, who was spouting nonsense, and got up to see President Li out. “He took some gunpowder today; please don’t take it to heart,” Jiao Qi apologized embarrassedly.

“It’s fine. He’s always been like this in business never yielding an inch. I’m used to it.” President Li was quite magnanimous, smiling and inviting Jiao Qi to come visit his home another day.

When he returned to the president’s office, he saw Mr. Dior Zhang sitting on the sofa with his legs crossed, holding a glass of red wine again. Seeing him enter, he spoke with cold irony: “What? Reluctant to let your old flame go?”

Jiao Qi was stunned when he heard this… What?

He and Zhang Da Diao had met through an arranged date. Before meeting Zhang Chenfei, he had been on dates with others. Among them was this President Li, Li Yingjun. At the time, they hadn’t clicked, so it ended there. All these years, Zhang Chenfei had never cared, and Jiao Qi never expected him to remember these old matters now.

Before he could argue, he was suddenly grabbed by Zhang Chenfei and pulled into his arms, forced to take a sip of red wine. Jiao Qi smacked his lips the taste wasn’t bad, so he took another sip from his lover’s hand.

“What a little glutton,” the president flirtatiously recited a classic line.

“Pfft—” Jiao Qi spat out the red wine, staining his white shirt red.

“Ah, I forgot to give you the invitation for our company’s new product launch the day after tomorrow…” President Li, who had returned, pushed open the door and saw the “abuse” of the little wife, standing frozen on the spot in shock.
