The Second Young Master’s Obedient Husband : Chapter 16

When Shuanzi arrived, Mother Su was mending clothes for Su Qingyu, while Su Qingyu sat nearby doing embroidery. The dark blue cotton handkerchief was not a color a young man would typically favor, but Su Qingyu worked on it with great care.

Hearing the knock at the door, Su Qingyu called out a response, finished the last few stitches, and then went to open it.

Upon opening the door, he saw Shuanzi, grinning foolishly and good-naturedly: “Brother Su, the Second Master sent me to fetch you.”

Mother Su heard the voices and came out to see. She hadn’t caught what they were saying, but seeing it was Shuanzi, she walked over with a warm smile: “Oh, it’s you. Last time you ran off too fast I didn’t even get a chance to thank you. Young men have such good physiques; this old woman is too old to keep up anymore. What brings you here this time?”

When Shuanzi saw Mother Su approaching, he reined in his grin somewhat, looking less foolish and more dependable: “Today is the day the cloth shop collects embroidery pieces. They also want to discuss the patterns and styles with Brother Yu in detail. I don’t really understand all that, so the Second Master sent me to escort him. The roads are difficult to travel, so the Second Master arranged for me to bring him over.”

Mother Su smiled and said, “Very well. Your employer is a good man, so I feel at ease.” She then pulled Su Qingyu aside and gave him a few instructions. Shuanzi kept his head down the whole time, feeling guilty this was no cloth shop errand; it was clearly his own troublesome Second Master who was lusting after the young man again.

After Mother Su finished her instructions, she brought over a basket of eggs and patted Shuanzi on the shoulder. Only then did Shuanzi stop his internal grumbling about the Second Master. He came back to his senses and smiled instinctively, looking simple and dull-witted. Every time the Second Master saw him smile like this, he would at most laugh and curse a bit, kick him a couple of times, and whatever foolish thing he had done would be forgiven he wouldn’t be fined any silver. The Second Master was usually quite generous with money. Although sometimes the Second Master didn’t act like a decent person, overall he was still a good man.

Only after smiling did Shuanzi realize the person before him wasn’t the Second Master. He reined in his grin and tried his best to appear more reliable.

Mother Su handed the basket to Shuanzi. It was filled to the brim with eggs and fresh vegetables, and she said with a smile: “Our family doesn’t have anything fine to offer, but these eggs and vegetables will add a dish to Village Head Liang’s table.”

Shuanzi hurriedly tried to refuse, but Mother Su shoved the basket into his arms and let go. Afraid the things would fall, Shuanzi instinctively caught them, and then his face fell into distress.

Mother Su took the opportunity to push Su Qingyu and Shuanzi out the door, closed it, and said: “It’s getting late. You two should go now, and come back early.”

Su Qingyu watched from the side, thoroughly amused, and persuaded Shuanzi to accept the gift. Shuanzi called out his thanks to Mother Su, placed the basket in the ox cart, and after seeing that Su Qingyu was seated properly, he drove the ox cart away with a worried face he was going to get scolded by the Second Master again when he returned.

To avoid attracting attention, the ox cart left the village and then circled back via a small path, finally dropping Su Qingyu off at the small gate to Liang Yu’s courtyard.

Shuanzi set Su Qingyu down and drove the ox cart away. Su Qingyu pushed open the gate and entered. He had just closed the door when a hand pulled him into an embrace.

“You’re here?”

The voice held a smile, and a hand pressed down on Su Qingyu’s head.

Su Qingyu’s face was buried against Liang Yu’s chest. He nodded, his ears burning red. Liang Yu kissed Su Qingyu’s ear, and his hand wandered mischievously beneath the padded coat, feeling that slender waist through the inner garments.

“Have you lost weight?”

Su Qingyu shook his head and answered honestly: “I haven’t lost weight. I’ve gained some.”

Liang Yu chuckled, his hand moving upward to squeeze: “You have gained a bit. There’s more flesh here.”

Su Qingyu’s face grew even redder, and he buried himself in Liang Yu’s embrace, not daring to look up.

Liang Yu scooped him up in his arms and walked toward the inner room, kissing him as he went. Once inside, he placed him on the kang, leaned over, and pressed down on top of him.

“Did you miss me?”

Su Qingyu looked at that face so close to his own, his eyelashes fluttering, and gave a soft “mm.”

Liang Yu smiled, lowered his head, and kissed him. His hands were not idle either; in a few quick motions, he stripped him bare.

This time, Liang Yu was fierce in his desire.

A vigorous young man, once he had tasted the pleasures of the flesh, could not restrain himself. After three or five days without seeing each other, he poured out all the pent-up energy he had stored. Su Qingyu was tossed and turned this way and that, whimpering and begging for mercy several times, but it was no use. The man was in the throes of passion and would listen to nothing; he only knew to press down and take him fiercely. One moment from the front, the next from behind, one moment on his knees, the next on his stomach the variety of positions was enough to make one’s face burn.

Tears hung from Su Qingyu’s eyelashes, his lips were swollen from kissing, and he looked utterly pitiful, yet he was so obedient. He did whatever he was told, never refusing.

Liang Yu looked at that face, and his desire became even harder to restrain.

The more he gave, the softer and more compliant the person became.

Liang Yu had long understood this principle, but it was only in recent days that he had truly tasted its sweetness. After each time, the next time they met, Su Qingyu would be a little softer, a little more obedient, and there would be a little more of something indescribable in his eyes when he looked at him.

After a good long while, he was finally sated.

Su Qingyu lay sprawled on the kang, his whole body as soft as if he had no bones. After resting for a moment, he softly crawled back into the embrace of the one who had just bullied him. Liang Yu pulled up the quilt, wrapped his arms around him, and held him close.

Su Qingyu nestled in that warm embrace, rubbing his face against the chest with contentment. Once he felt securely held, he lay still.

“You’ve gained a bit of weight,” Liang Yu said, squeezing the soft flesh in his hand, his voice carrying a smile. “It’s much more comfortable to hold you now.”

Su Qingyu’s face flushed red again, and he buried himself in Liang Yu’s embrace, not daring to look up.

Liang Yu chuckled, held him tenderly for a while, then let go and got down from the kang. He put on his clothes, went out to the kitchen, and soon returned carrying a bowl of brown sugar water.

“Drink this.”

Su Qingyu sat up, covering his body with the quilt, took the bowl, and drank in small sips. The brown sugar water was sweet, the temperature just right, warming him from his throat down to his stomach.

Liang Yu sat on the edge of the kang, looking at the hands holding the bowl. His Adam’s apple moved again. Those hands were slender and fair, with delicate knuckles. There were some red marks on the back of the hands, and teeth marks on the fingers marks left from the earlier exertion.

After finishing the brown sugar water, Su Qingyu handed the bowl back. Liang Yu took it and set it aside, then wrapped Su Qingyu in one of his own undergarments and placed him on the low couch by the window. He changed the bedding and mattress, quickly scrubbed the soiled spots, and hung them on the rack by the charcoal brazier to dry.

The two of them quickly wiped themselves down, and Liang Yu carried Su Qingyu back to the warm kang. He kissed the person in his arms again. “Stay here tonight.”

Su Qingyu pressed against the warm chest, hesitated for a moment, and then nodded.

Liang Yu smiled, pinched the face of the person in his arms, and said: “The cotton in that old padded coat of yours has all clumped together. You might as well take it apart and use the cotton to make a padded cushion. In winter, mattresses are hard to dry. Having a padded cushion to put underneath would be more convenient…”

Before Liang Yu could finish, Su Qingyu covered his mouth. Looking at the thoroughly reddened little person, he laughed hoarsely without stopping.
