The Second Young Master’s Obedient Husband : Chapter 39
The Next Day
When Su Qingyu woke up, the spot beside him was already empty.
He propped himself up and reached out to touch the side. The bedding was still warm, so the person must have left not long ago. From outside came some sounds, like from the kitchen area, the crackling of firewood, and the light clinking of pots and bowls.
He didn’t know when the rain had stopped. Bright white light came through the window paper, looking like the sun had already risen quite high.
Su Qingyu lay there not wanting to move, his whole body sore and limp, his waist feeling like it was going to break. Last night had been too rough. When Liang Yu held him to wash his body, Su Qingyu’s consciousness was already not very clear. He was washed clean inside and out, even forgetting to feel shy.
When he was carried to bed, Su Qingyu fell into a deep sleep the moment his head touched the pillow.
Su Qingyu yawned, lazily rubbed his eyes, and propped himself up to sit.
The quilt slid down, revealing his fair body. On his collarbone, on his chest, were marks both deep and shallow.
Su Qingyu’s face reddened, reached out to grab clothes at the foot of the bed.
The first thing he grabbed was an undergarment, the one bought in town last time. After Su Qingyu came back he had secretly embroidered a pattern of mandarin ducks playing in water on it. Last night when Liang Yu saw it he breathed even harder, pinching Su Qingyu’s waist until it hurt.
It felt dry to the touch, with no strange smell. Liang Yu must have washed it at some point yesterday, and now it was already dry. Su Qingyu put on the undergarment, his hand reaching behind his back to tie the ribbons.
He had just tied half of it when the door suddenly opened.
Su Qingyu was startled, his hand trembled, and the ribbons came loose again. He looked up and saw Liang Yu standing in the doorway, still holding a bowl in his hand, steaming hot, he didn’t know what it was.
Liang Yu was also stunned looking at the scene inside the room, his Adam’s apple moving without him realizing it.
The person before him sat on the kang, the quilt piled at his waist, exposing his beautiful upper half. The undergarment hung loosely on his body, the ribbons in the back not yet tied, the collar open, revealing a large expanse of tender white skin, half covered and half revealed by the undergarment, fleshy and soft, squeezing out a shallow line.
His waist was so slender one hand could wrap around it. From the waist downward, the quilt covered it, but one could faintly see a bit of tender white inner thigh, and those deep and shallow marks on his legs.
That delicate face still carried the tiredness of just waking, eyes half open and half closed, eyelashes very long, cheeks pink, lips still somewhat swollen, the mole at the corner of his eye bright red, the whole person both delicate and alluring.
When Su Qingyu saw Liang Yu come in, his eyes opened wider, his face instantly flushed red. He fumbled to tie the ribbons behind his back, his hands shaking so badly he couldn’t tie them after several tries.
Liang Yu stood in the doorway, his prominent Adam’s apple rolling, suddenly understanding what it meant to be a living picture of beauty and fragrance.
He entered the room, put the bowl on the small table by the door, and walked straight toward Su Qingyu.
Su Qingyu’s hands tying the ribbons were grasped. He looked up at Liang Yu standing before him, his heart beating so hard it felt like it would jump out of his throat.
He moved his legs, that place was still sore beyond bearing. Looking at Liang Yu’s darkened eyes, like he wanted to eat him up, both fierce and greedy. Su Qingyu pressed his lips together, still trying to struggle a bit.
“Second Brother Liang… breakfast…”
“No rush.”
Su Qingyu bit his lip, struggling again, “Second Brother Liang, can you go out for a bit? I need to put on clothes.”
Liang Yu looked down at him, rubbing the tender skin of his hand, raised his eyebrows, smiling wickedly.
“No need to wear them.”
He paused, then added, “You’ll have to take them off again soon anyway.”
That voice already carried a hoarse quality. Su Qingyu lifted his small face, angered and embarrassed by his rascal words, yet kept his head raised, not daring to look down at all.
Liang Yu reached out and pulled that loose undergarment down a bit. That handsome fierce face now was no different from those lecherous rakes.
His Adam’s apple kept rolling, looking at that bit of rare beauty, lowered his head and took one side into his mouth.
Su Qingyu’s body went soft, his hand propping on the kang so he wouldn’t fall. His legs unconsciously pressed together, that feeling came again, both numb and itchy, rushing from that one place to his whole body, the whole person going limp.
Liang Yu sucked a few times, raised his head, licked his lips.
His hands weren’t idle either, the strength so great that white flesh overflowed from between his fingers.
Liang Yu reached out and pushed him down on the kang, leaned over and pressed on top of him, that undergarment was pulled off and tossed aside.
The quilt was kicked to the foot of the bed.
The sun outside was bright white, shining on the window paper, illuminating the room brightly.
Sunlight fell on those shallow dimples above his waist, then was covered by slender fingers. The slender waist, one hand could cover most of it. Sweat glistened with shimmering light, sliding down soft white flesh, bone and flesh giving off fragrance.
Su Qingyu was so shy he wanted to hide, but was held down, could only close his eyes and let the person have his way. Those tiny fragmented sounds leaked from the corner of his mouth, enough to make a person’s bones go soft.
After a long while, things finally quieted down.
Su Qingyu lay on the kang, held and kissed again and again.
“I originally wanted to let you eat breakfast, but who told you to tempt me again.”
These words sounded utterly shameless.
Su Qingyu angrily punched him twice, then was caught and kissed on the hand.
“Are you hungry?”
Su Qingyu lay there not making a sound.
Liang Yu laughed, let go and got off the kang. He threw on clothes and went into the kitchen.
In the kitchen, the porridge in the pot was still warm. Liang Yu squatted before the stove and added a piece of firewood, but his mind was still on that scene from just now.
His Adam’s apple rolled again.
Liang Yu looked down at himself, laughed and cursed in a hoarse voice.
This life, truly couldn’t be lived anymore.
Liang Yu was afraid Su Qingyu would really go hungry, pushed aside those distracting thoughts, moved a bit faster. Before long he brought in a bowl of brown sugar eggs.
“Eat.”
Su Qingyu sat up, using the quilt to cover his body, took the bowl and ate in small bites, occasionally looking up at Liang Yu.
Liang Yu sat on the edge of the kang, propping his chin and looking at him. The sunlight softened his features, looking especially gentle.
Looking and looking something went wrong again, his gaze moving from that face downward, landing on that slender white waist, then landing on the place covered by the quilt.
Su Qingyu sensed that gaze, his face reddened again, lowered his head, continued eating in silence, afraid of being pressed down for another round. Although Liang Yu’s medicinal ointment was very effective, Su Qingyu didn’t want to experience the feeling of being paralyzed in bed again.
After finishing he handed the bowl back. Liang Yu took it and set it aside, then pulled him into his arms again.
The two held each other, neither speaking.
The sun outside was very nice, shining on the window paper, bright and clear. Occasionally birds chirped, chattering away, then quickly gone.
In the afternoon after eating, Liang Yu sent Su Qingyu home.
When they arrived, Liang Yu got out of the cart first, then carried Su Qingyu down, handed him the things he had bought for Su Qingyu and said, “In a couple of days, I’ll come fetch you up the mountain.”
Su Qingyu was startled, holding his arms full of things, his eyes brightening. Liang Yu rubbed against his face, “This time you’ll stay a few more days.”
Su Qingyu nodded. Liang Yu watched him enter the house before driving away.
