As the days passed, Su Qingyu’s belly grew bigger day by day. Pregnancy did not make Su Qingyu look haggard at all. Instead, he became even more beautiful. Liang Yu chuckled softly and kissed him tenderly on the forehead. “That is lovely.”

When the months grew a bit larger, Liang Yu took Su Qingyu to the medical hall in town.

The old doctor took his pulse and looked at Su Qingyu’s complexion, then smiled. “You are being well cared for, and the baby’s position is correct. When the time comes, give birth properly and nothing will go wrong.”

After returning from town, Liang Yu locked the cabinet with the snacks, leaving only a small dish outside. He found a string, threaded the key through it, and hung it around his neck.
