The cool beauty forcibly bids for top A: Chapter 88

At two o’clock in the morning, the Venetian Macao never sleeps. The Grand Canal flows with azure water, and the vanities are flooded with the blood of gamblers.

There is no distinction between day and night, only winners and losers, hunters and lambs.

“Brother Hei, have another drink…”

Two scantily clad, hot-bodied Omegas were clinging to the man from left to right. The man called Brother Hei had his black shirt half open, revealing explosive pectoral muscles and a large expanse of aggressive tattoos. He had a medium-deep broken eyebrow at the ridge of his brow, and his features were deep and rugged, exuding an untamed, wild charm.

He bit on a cigar, half-squinting his slender eyes, and casually pinched one of the Omega’s waistlines with his thick-jointed fingers, eliciting a burst of coquettish whimpers. He was calculating how to thoroughly torment these two stunners in bed tonight when the door of the suite was pushed open hurriedly from the outside with a loud bang.

“Brother Hei! A big deal!”

His subordinate rushed in covered in sweat, unable to even catch his breath, his tone filled with repressed excitement: “Down in the VIP hall, a fat sheep has arrived!”

Brother Hei’s mood was interrupted, and his gaze turned cold. He casually grabbed a glass filled with ice cubes from the table and smashed it directly against the door frame without even looking, splashing the ice water all over the subordinate.

“Blind fool,” Brother Hei spat out a grayish-white smoke ring. “What kind of fat sheep is worth you rushing to your death? Even the King of Heaven has to wait until I finish having my fun.”

The subordinate shrank back in fright, but still braced himself and stepped forward, lowering his voice: “Brother Hei, this sheep is really different. A big boss from Hong Kong, with opening bets starting at seven figures. He lost nearly a million in less than half an hour just now, and he didn’t even blink an eyelid. He is a pure money-dispensing boy.”

Hearing this number, the fingers holding Brother Hei’s cigar paused slightly, and a predator’s shrewd glint flashed in the depths of his eyes.

Seeing that there was a chance, the subordinate swallowed hard, his eyes revealing an indescribable greed, and lowered his voice even further: “And that boss’s looks are simply stunning. Brother Hei, I’ve followed you for so many years, what kind of rare beauties haven’t we seen in the club? But I dare bet my life that even the hottest stars on television right now don’t measure up to a thousandth of him.”

“He wore a dark green Tang suit, that figure, that icy aura…” The subordinate seemed to be reminiscing about the glance he had caught from afar earlier, his tone becoming increasingly vulgar, “Simply heart-stoppingly seductive.”

Brother Hei raised an eyebrow and stopped completely.

An Omega who is foolish, wealthy, and extraordinarily gorgeous?

Having moved in gambling circles for so many years and personally engineered traps to ruin countless dignitaries, his absolute favorite was this kind of self-righteous young master from a wealthy family who thought that bringing enough money meant he could run amok in Macau. Not only could he squeeze the other person’s purse dry, but once the other person lost their mind with red eyes and reached the end of their rope, wouldn’t someone who usually acted so high and mighty end up begging at his feet like a dog?

Thinking of this, the wicked fire in Brother Hei’s heart burned completely, even more fiercely than before. He glanced at the two Omegas beside him whom he had just found soul-stirring, suddenly feeling them utterly insipid, like two bowls of plain, tasteless water.

Brother Hei pushed the Omega on him aside and stood up. He casually buttoned the bottom two buttons of his shirt, fully revealing his broad-shouldered, narrow-waisted, and upright physique. He casually stubbed out his cigar in the ashtray, a wild smile hooking across his ruggedly handsome face.

“From Hong Kong?” Brother Hei tugged at the corner of his mouth, licked his back teeth, his eyes full of inevitable greed. “I want to see what kind of rare beauty this is.”

“Let’s go, downstairs to slaughter a sheep.”

The heavy wooden doors of the VIP lounge were pushed open from the outside by two bodyguards.

Brother Hei walked with one hand in his suit trousers pocket, his stride arrogant and casual. He had originally been calculating in his mind what combination of grace and coercion to use to shock this ignorant fat sheep. However, when his gaze landed on the main seat at the gambling table, all his movements and breathing became stuck dead in his throat.

The man sitting there was so breathtakingly beautiful that one dared not look directly at him.

He was wrapped in a dark green Tang suit, with a traditional high mandarin collar buttoned up tightly to the base of his throat. Black agate knot buttons locked around his pale, cold neck, exuding an inviolable asceticism.

His silver-gray long hair was half-coiled, with a white jade hairpin stuck diagonally through it, the remaining strands winding down his slender and upright spine. The natural flush at the corners of his eyes matched his indifferent expression as he carelessly played with the chips at that moment.

With his unrefined knowledge, he could only think of the phrase “bringing disaster to the country and the people.”

Brother Hei felt that the rare Omegas he had slept with in his life were not even worth the mud in the sewer compared to the one before him. The sadistic desire to strip away that high-and-mighty Tang suit and watch him cry and beg in front of his eyes twisted his heart like a venomous snake.

“Boss Shen, since you’ve come to my territory, the rules are mine. I won’t trouble the dealer; I’ll deal the cards myself. How about that?” Brother Hei picked up the playing cards on the table, his thick-jointed hands flashing with extreme agility as he riffled and pulled the cards into a perfect arc.

He was showing off, and he was also testing the waters. For him, once the cards passed through his hands, it was equivalent to seizing the power of life and death.

Shen Yanzhou finally stopped his chip-flipping motion, lifted his slender phoenix eyes slightly, and indifferently spat out a single word: “Fine.”

The first game, Texas Hold’em, with a fifty-thousand blind.

Brother Hei flicked out two hole cards with extreme proficiency.

Shen Yanzhou didn’t even flip open the corners of his hole cards to take a look, directly tossing out two million in chips: “Raise.”

“Boss Shen really has great guts. Playing like this without even looking at your hole cards, you sure are wealthy and generous.” Brother Hei chuckled cynically and called the bet, flipping over three community cards: a spade King, a heart Jack, and a diamond 10.

“Just playing for fun.” Shen Yanzhou rested his chin on one hand and casually cast out some bait: “I heard the waters in your Macau clubs are deep. A while ago, an unlucky guy named Huo Tian lost his very underpants at this very table, didn’t he?”

Brother Hei’s fingers paused on the cards for a split second, and then a flash of arrogant triumph gleamed in the depths of his eyes.

Of course he remembered Huo Tian; that was the fattest pig he had slaughtered in the past half-year, not only winning all of the other man’s cash but also forcing him to sign sky-high dual-contract usury debt notes.

“Boss Shen is certainly well-informed.” Brother Hei looked at Shen Yanzhou’s face, the man’s vanity and desire for display magnified infinitely. He even deliberately leaned his upper body forward, trying to close the distance between himself and Shen Yanzhou: “That mad dog Huo Tian did indeed fall into my hands. Once at my gambling table, no matter how much influence he has in Hong Kong, wasn’t he still stripped of his teeth and skinned by me?”

“Oh?” Shen Yanzhou tapped his fingertips on the table, a faint smile not quite reaching his eyes: “Stupid as Huo Tian is, he’s at least someone who mixes in the underworld. You could devour him so cleanly all by yourself?”

“Gambling in this world relies thirty percent on card skills and seventy percent on scheming.” Growing swollen with conceit, Brother Hei showed off his “great achievements” while dealing the turn card.

“Boss Shen, you wouldn’t know. When he was sitting right here, his eyes were bloodshot from losing. He always thought he could make a comeback, not knowing that the biggest taboo at a gambling table is ‘assuming.’ Since his skills were inferior, I bled him inch by inch, watching him go from arrogance to despair. That feeling is much more interesting than playing with an Omega.”

Shen Yanzhou: “To make Huo Tian accept his defeat so thoroughly, your methods are indeed breathtaking. However, I heard he kept muttering about that game that night back in Hong Kong, always feeling something was off.”

This sentence, carrying a bit of provocation and questioning, accurately struck the self-esteem of a gambler like Brother Hei.

“Off?” Brother Hei stopped his cards, leaning his upper body forward slightly, his rogue-like wildness carrying a hint of dangerous oppression: “Boss Shen, in Macau, a loss is a loss. When I beat him that night, I won because of my guts, because I dared to put my life on the table. A guy from a prominent family like him has too many concerns, so naturally he couldn’t beat someone like me who has nothing to lose.”

As he spoke, his gaze grew even more uninhibited as he sized up Shen Yanzhou, staring from that tight mandarin collar down to the waistline wrapped in the Tang suit.

So slender.

“Boss Shen, at the gambling table, let’s just talk cards. Are you still calling this hand?”

Shen Yanzhou chuckled lightly and pushed all the chips in front of him—a full ten million—right into the center of the table: “All in.”

Brother Hei was stunned, followed by an outburst of wild joy. He was holding a Queen and an Ace as hole cards, making a straight, and called without hesitation, flipping over his hole cards.

“Boss Shen, I yield, I won this hand.” Brother Hei laughed heartily as he swept the chips toward his side.

Shen Yanzhou lost ten million without even twitching an eyebrow, simply casting an extremely cold gaze at Brother Hei.

Brother Hei laughed out loud as he dragged the ten-million chip pile toward himself. Staring at Shen Yanzhou’s excessively calm face, the instinct he had honed by licking blood for years gave him a fleeting sense of incongruity; this freakishly gorgeous Omega was as steady as a veteran trader who had seen hundreds of billions in cash flows.

However, that intense Alpha conceit and inherent contempt for Omegas quickly forced that trace of vigilance back down. In his own club, with him dealing the cards, even a visiting dragon had to coil up.

The second round began.

Having won money, Brother Hei grew even bolder. As he dealt the cards, he deliberately leaned more than halfway across the table. When he pushed the cards toward Shen Yanzhou, that callused hand reeking of stale tobacco smoke did not withdraw immediately. Instead, it deliberately and inch by inch approached the wrist Shen Yanzhou had placed on the edge of the table, attempting to catch any Omega pheromone that might leak from Shen Yanzhou’s collar.

Although a tightly sealed blocker patch was stuck there, leaving only a faint scent of roses, that protesting coolness made his throat tighten. His mind was filled with filthy thoughts: such slender wrists, later in bed, if he tore off that blocker patch, bit into the back of his neck, and made him tainted with his own Alpha pheromone, how intoxicating would that be?

Just as his fingertips were about to brush against Shen Yanzhou, Shen Yanzhou leaned back in extreme disgust, dodging that dirty hand.

At the same time, a spine-chilling gaze coiled around them like a venomous snake.

Wearing a face mask, Fu Sizhou had remained utterly silent since entering the door. But when Brother Hei’s hand crossed the line, he stared fixedly at that filthy hand. In his mind, that hand had already been crippled; he was even calculating what angle to strike to ensure no blood splattered onto his wife’s clean and beautiful Tang suit.

Brother Hei missed his touch, but he didn’t feel awkward at all. Instead, he found this thorny, cold beauty even more flavorful, except that the man behind him looking like a bodyguard was rather terrifying and quite an eyesore.

Over the next half-hour, Brother Hei continuously used the intervals of shuffling and cutting cards to display his self-proclaimed brilliant card skills, while Shen Yanzhou watched coldly the whole time, seeing the chips in front of him dwindle further and further.

When the last few million in chips were also won by Brother Hei, Brother Hei could finally no longer contain himself.

Leaning back in his chair and lighting a cigar, he licked Shen Yanzhou from head to toe with an extremely sticky, unbridled gaze, finally locking onto that peerlessly beautiful face.

“Boss Shen, looks like luck isn’t on your side tonight. Twenty million, completely lost.” Brother Hei smiled cynically, flashing an expression he thought was full of charm. “But it doesn’t matter; I’m a man who knows how to cherish jade. Why don’t we change how we play?”

He blew out a smoke ring, leaned forward again, and spoke in a very low voice loaded with explicit suggestion: “If Boss Shen loses the next hand too, let’s forget about chips. As long as Boss Shen stays behind alone tonight to have a couple of drinks with me and ‘discuss’ the rules under the gambling table… I guarantee I’ll make you feel so good… you won’t even want to go back to Hong Kong.”

Shen Yanzhou slowly stood up, looking down at Brother Hei from a position of superiority.

“Boss Hei might not be very clear on Shen’s rules back in Hong Kong.” His voice was frosty. “These twenty million are merely scraps of meat I casually toss to an obedient vicious dog when I have nothing better to do. Since you’ve picked them up, you should just wag your tail and back off.”

Shen Yanzhou’s gaze drifted lightly over Brother Hei’s proud tattoos. “Trying to buy a master’s night with a few picked-up bones? You aren’t even qualified to lick the soles of my shoes.”

Without looking at Brother Hei again, he tilted his head slightly to look at the man exuding a murderous aura standing behind him.

“Next, swap with him and play a few rounds.”

The instant Shen Yanzhou brushed past and stepped back, a faint whiff of rose scent grazed the tip of Fu Sizhou’s nose. In the dead angle of Brother Hei’s vision, Shen Yanzhou raised his hand hanging by his side in an extremely covert gesture, his cool little finger hooking lightly and imperceptibly against the tightly clenched knuckles in Fu Sizhou’s palm.

The bloodthirsty hostility all over Fu Sizhou was instantly smoothed down. He naturally lowered his head slightly and felt Shen Yanzhou’s pretty hand pat his broad shoulder twice.

Then, a breath-like whisper audible only to him fell into Fu Sizhou’s ear:

“You’ll win, right?”
