The Disliked Shou and the Charming Gong : Chapter 31: I Just Want Our Family to Stay Together

He Ning fell silent for a moment after hearing Wen Junhe’s answer. “Wen Junhe, answer my question seriously.”

Wen Junhe: “I’m thirty this year, not three. I can control my own actions.”

He Ning sat up like a caterpillar shedding its cocoon, pulling down the blanket and asking the million-dollar question: “Don’t you feel anything when you see someone young and pretty? Don’t you want to sleep with them?”

Wen Junhe didn’t answer. Instead, he asked back: “What about you? Did you meet any questionable people abroad? Would you sleep with someone just because they’re good-looking?”

“Of course not,” He Ning said, only realizing afterward that Wen Junhe had led him into a trap. “Forget it, you and I will never see eye to eye.”

He Ning wrapped himself back in the blanket, puffing up his cheeks and turning his back to Wen Junhe.

Wen Junhe had always had one problem that was harder to crack than any economic model: Why was He Ning mad? What exactly was he mad about? How could he make him not mad?

He let out a sigh, leaning close to He Ning’s ear and saying: “Even if someone is really pretty, it has nothing to do with me. From start to finish, the only person I want to sleep with is you.”

He Ning turned to look at him, then suddenly murmured: “Wen Junhe, you have to stay on the straight and narrow. Don’t evade taxes or launder money or anything like that. Don’t lose yourself for the sake of money. My dad is a living example. He’s a thousand-year-old fox, a giant poisonous snake. Don’t listen to anything he says, and don’t be like him. Don’t forget you used to be the kind of good person who would turn in money you found on the street to the police station.”

Wen Junhe listened to He Ning’s rambling and deliberately moved closer. His expression softened, because ever since he brought He Ning here, He Ning hadn’t given him a single kind look.

These words could practically be called concern.

He took the opportunity to pull He Ning into his arms. He could smell the fresh scent of body wash on him. The person beneath him stiffened, and He Ning nudged Wen Junhe’s arm.

Wen Junhe couldn’t help but move a little closer: “You’re worried about me?”

He Ning: “I’m not… stay away from me.”

He had only behaved himself for a few days before he couldn’t hold back anymore.

That night, they went at it hard. Wen Junhe tossed and turned the stubborn-mouthed He Ning until He Ning’s chest was covered with bite marks and hickeys left by Wen Junhe, glaringly obvious. His features weren’t particularly striking, but after the fact, all those marks on his body gave him the air of a playboy.

Wen Junhe stared at He Ning’s loose pajamas. The collar was so large that half his shoulder was visible. He reached out and sure enough, felt bare legs. As expected, He Ning wasn’t wearing pants again.

They had been like this when they lived together before. He Ning loved to wander around the house wearing Wen Junhe’s T-shirts, his long legs startlingly white, completely lacking any sense of danger.

Wen Junhe thought back and felt that even if he really had erectile dysfunction, he would still want to mess with He Ning somehow.

He was practically asking for it.

Back then, Wen Junhe told him to dress more appropriately. He Ning would pull his arms into the sleeves, waving the empty sleeves around, eyes crinkling with laughter as he provoked him.

It was fine when he was standing, but when he bent over to grab something, the hem of his shirt would ride all the way up to his waistline.

Wen Junhe couldn’t stand it back then and would yank him over, palm against his thigh. He Ning struggled but couldn’t break free, instead getting pressed onto the sofa. That phrase full of irritation, “asking for a spanking,” then manifested entirely in action upon He Ning’s body.

“Stop touching my thigh.”

He Ning glared at the shameless Wen Junhe.

“You were the one who showed concern for me first.”

“What concern? I’m just making sure you understand not to make mistakes. If that day really comes, it’ll be too late for regrets.”

Wen Junhe’s gaze locked firmly onto He Ning’s eyes, his dark pupils unblinking, as if trying to see right through him: “He Ning, you’re really scared something will happen to me?”

“Stop flattering yourself.” He Ning looked away, but the tips of his ears turned red beyond his control.

Wen Junhe suddenly pulled him into his arms. He Ning’s nose collided with his shoulder, making him hiss in pain.

“Did that hurt?”

They were pressed so close together that He Ning couldn’t help but feel a sense of shame from such intimate contact.

Wen Junhe’s palm pressed against He Ning’s lower back, his grip so tight it was as if he wanted to embed him into his own body.

“I won’t leave you, He Ning. If I weren’t around either, what would you do?” His voice came from above He Ning’s head.

He Ning refused to back down: “Wen Junhe, stop flattering yourself. I’d still live just fine without you.”

He Ning struggled but couldn’t break free, instead getting held even tighter.

“Alright, it’s me who can’t leave you. What would I do without you?”

He Ning hummed a few times, only then realizing he had completely fallen into Wen Junhe’s embrace.

Wen Junhe reached around He Ning’s waist, relentlessly pressing him down beneath his body. His knee wedged between He Ning’s legs, forcing He Ning to spread his legs wide. For a moment, his expression changed slightly. Wen Junhe’s fingers were already mischievously stripping away He Ning’s only remaining covering.

He Ning suddenly shivered, letting out a soft sound, and glared at him: “Wen Junhe, what are you doing!”

It was already too late.

The crucial position had fallen.

Wen Junhe lowered his eyes to look at him, his face calm, but there seemed to be a fire burning in the depths of his gaze. The thirty-year-old Wen Junhe, compared to his terrifyingly energetic eighteen-year-old self, was more mature and steady, and also more skilled.

“I want to be a little lecherous,” Wen Junhe’s dark eyes stared at He Ning, a flash of barely restrained lust passing across his fair, handsome face, “Is that okay?”

A struggle appeared between He Ning’s brows.

Wen Junhe sat up. Seeing that He Ning didn’t speak, he reached out and removed his own clothes. The obsession and desire in his eyes seemed to transform into the deepest mud, roaring as they threatened to drag He Ning down.

“Is that okay?”

When Wen Junhe usually wore shirts, he would roll up his sleeves to his elbows, revealing his well-defined forearms. Before He Ning had resigned, he had seen him leaning over to sign documents, the muscles of his back showing clear outlines through the fabric, his waistline tucked into his belt.

Now, the lines of his shoulder blades tensed and relaxed, like some large cat preparing to pounce.

More captivating than five years ago.

He Ning watched him with a flushed face. He wanted to grab He Ning’s legs and press him back onto the bed. He looked down at He Ning’s foot pressed against his own chest, grasping his wrist, gently caressing it. Then Wen Junhe leaned down, using his teeth to lightly kiss and nibble that fair skin, working his way up from the calf, inch by inch claiming his skin.

He Ning’s mind went blank, but Wen Junhe in this state was simply too seductive.

When Wen Junhe buried his face down there, not only had the crucial position fallen, he had completely given up resisting.

He Ning’s grip on the bedsheets tightened, and he sighed, covering his eyes in resignation.

It was funny to think about it. The first time Wen Junhe had done this to him, he had nearly broken him.

After that, they hadn’t tried it again.

On the contrary, Wen Junhe had made shocking progress in this area.

After they finished, He Ning’s face was bright red, not knowing where to look.

Wen Junhe sat up quite calmly. He Ning handed him a tissue, but Wen Junhe showed him instead. It was gone. He had swallowed it.

The string in He Ning’s mind snapped. He suddenly felt that Wen Junhe was such a slut.

“So you agreed this time, right?”

He Ning wanted to say, could he have not agreed?

But Wen Junhe was practically a fox spirit, too good at seducing people.

He Ning said: “Wen Junhe, would you say these same things to someone else?”

Wen Junhe kissed He Ning’s hand: “Marry me, and I’ll give you all my assets. I won’t even have the chance to turn bad.”

He Ning didn’t agree right away.

Wen Junhe suddenly lowered his head and bit his finger, making He Ning jerk his hand back.

“But what if you take my money and go fool around?”

After all, He Ning had a track record of doing exactly that.

He Ning lifted his leg to kick, but Wen Junhe grabbed his knee. In the next second, his breath was blocked. Wen Junhe’s lips pressed down.

He Ning gasped for air, biting Wen Junhe’s lower lip.

Wen Junhe licked his nearly swollen lips, sweat dripping from his temples, and curved his lips into a smile: “Ningning, you’re so active tonight.”

Wen Junhe had smiled quite a lot tonight, the corners of his mouth never coming down.

He leaned in close to He Ning, their noses practically touching: “I won’t do a single thing you don’t like.”

“I know you’re scared of being alone.”

When He Ning heard the word “always,” his eyes suddenly turned red.

“Liar, you’re all liars. Who cares about money and status,” He Ning’s fist landed on Wen Junhe’s shoulder, not using any force, “I just want our family to stay together. Why is it so hard?”

Wen Junhe pulled him tight, his palm rubbing up and down He Ning’s back: “I understand. I never lie. I keep my word.”

Wen Junhe felt his collar grow damp, and his arms around him tightened even more.
