The Villainous Male Supporting Character Courts Death Every Day : Chapter 1: Punishment

In the morning, within the luxurious ducal mansion, Butler Kyle walked along the long corridor.

His expression was steady and composed, his demeanor restrained. His black eyes were deep, his gaze careful and focused.

He wore a dark butler uniform, sharply tailored, his imposing figure looking tall and straight. His black hair was neatly combed, his steps steady without swaying. Only the delicate silver pocket watch on his chest glinted faintly as he walked, flickering in and out of sight.

His custom leather shoes stepped on the carpet, his pace light and slow, stable and silent, as if each step had been precisely calculated.

He appeared meticulous and appropriately elegant.

His footsteps stopped before young master Milo’s bedroom. Kyle knocked lightly on the door, waited a moment, then pushed it open. Inside the spacious bedroom, it was dim and quiet. A ray of sunlight slipped through a gap in the curtains, falling diagonally across the bed.

On the bed, a delicate and fair-skinned young man was curled up. His brilliant golden hair was spread across the pillow, glowing with a halo in the morning light, like wheat kissed by the dawn. His skin was fairer than snow, complementing the pure white silk bedding. His soft satin nightgown outlined his fine figure, his collarbones faintly visible, languid and alluring.

The young man’s eyes were tightly shut, as if in peaceful sleep, yet his slender fingers rested casually beside the pillow, lightly tracing the embroidered lace on the pillow, as if in a dream, as if awake. He seemed like an angel stepping out of a painting, naturally noble yet carefree and unrestrained.

Kyle involuntarily held his breath for a moment. After a pause, he slowly stepped forward, standing beside the bed. He placed his right hand over his chest and bowed slightly, his movements graceful and fluid, his voice low and clear: “Good morning, young master. Did you sleep well last night?”

“Kyle…” Milo slowly stretched his body into a beautiful arc, inadvertently revealing a large expanse of pale skin. His eyes narrowed, his lashes fluttering, like a lazy cat, murmuring in a dreamlike whisper: “…You are late.”

“I am very sorry, young master. I was delayed by some trivial matters.” As if afraid to disturb the soft and ambiguous atmosphere of the room, Kyle maintained just the right distance, explaining softly.

“Trivial matters?” The young man scoffed, his eyes half open, revealing a pair of amber golden pupils, carrying innate arrogance and mockery: “Aren’t you my butler? Everything should prioritize me first, am I right?”

Kyle’s expression did not change, and he bowed even lower: “The young master is right. It was my negligence.”

“Heh…” Milo extended a jade-like finger, lightly hooking the watch chain hanging from Kyle’s chest, playing with it between his fingertips, and said flippantly: “Tell me what it was. Then I will decide how to punish you.”

Kyle’s eyes were lowered, showing no emotion whatsoever. He answered concisely: “Arranging breakfast, confirming the young master’s schedule, handling daily miscellaneous affairs.”

“These are things you should have arranged long ago. This is not a reason for you to ignore me.” The young man flicked his hand away and rolled over, making a willful and forceful argument, yet the corners of his lips curved into a smile, appearing both malicious and domineering: “You were not attending by my side, causing me to be unable to find you when I woke up. Does that count as dereliction of duty?”

“The young master is right,” Kyle didn’t even bat an eyelash, seemingly accustomed to the young master’s temper. He maintained his bowing posture, his attitude submissively respectful yet graceful and composed, and said calmly: “Please punish me.”

“You are quite clever.” The young man turned his head with interest, his eyes traveling up and down Kyle’s sturdy body, and said with a mischievous smile: “Then tell me yourself, how should I punish you?”

“According to the family rules, for dereliction of duty, thirty lashes with the whip.” Kyle spoke plainly, as if the punishment he described had nothing to do with him, and as if he had already anticipated the young master’s thoughts, calmly accepting the reality.

“Since that is the case, then let it be done as you say.” Satisfied with Kyle’s obedience, the young man became excited. His golden eyes sparkled, flashing with an intense light. He sat up and grinned mischievously: “As a reward, I am willing to administer the whip myself. After all, you are my favorite servant.”

“Thank you for the young master’s grace. To receive your personal punishment is my honor.” Kyle bowed his head in thanks, fetched the whip, and presented it respectfully with both hands. Then he removed his coat, vest, and shirt one by one, baring his upper body, and knelt straight before the young man.

Without the cover of his refined clothing, the man’s robust physique was fully revealed.

Broad shoulders and a narrow waist, a full and thick chest, clearly defined and well-proportioned lower abdominal muscles. His entire body was filled with lines of power, smooth and captivating. His bronze skin carried a hint of wild charm, yet it was covered with scabbed whip marks and scars, densely packed, old and new intertwined.

“Tsk tsk, where should I even start?” Milo stood up holding the leather whip, his front foot raised lightly, his posture lazily tilted, his gaze roaming over Kyle’s body: “Outsiders only see you as the most capable butler in the ducal mansion. Who would know that beneath this skin lies a good-for-nothing who is always making mistakes and receiving punishment.”

“Yes, the young master is right. Please instruct me.” Unmoved by the young man’s harsh words, Kyle kept his back straight and his kneeling posture proper.

“It’s alright, Kyle. No matter how many mistakes you make, I will never tire of educating you. After all, I am your master.” The young man spoke gently, the corners of his mouth rising in a cruel smile. Saying this, he raised his hand and swung the whip fiercely across Kyle’s chest.

Kyle let out a muffled groan. His skin instantly bore a bright red mark. He endured the pain, responding in a hoarse voice: “Thank you for the young master’s instruction. I will remember it by heart and never make the same mistake again.”

“Very good, Kyle. That’s the way. Remember your mistakes, remember your incompetence, and never leave my side without permission.” With each sentence the young man spoke, he swung down another whip. In no time, he left crisscrossing bright red whip marks on Kyle’s chest, abdomen, and side waist.

Kyle gritted his teeth, his brows furrowed, beads of sweat forming on his forehead. He still knelt perfectly straight, yet his fingers involuntarily curled tight, his knuckles turning white.

“Such a good boy, Kyle. You are the best.” Seeing the man’s appearance of endurance, Milo grew even more excited. His eyes lit up, the corners of his mouth stretched wide in unrestrained delight, his hand rising and the whip falling continuously, enjoying the pleasure of tormenting the man. The room echoed with cracking sounds, the air filling with the heat of sweat.

Until the final lash fell, the young man was already panting for breath. Sitting on the edge of the bed and catching his breath, he looked up at the man still kneeling perfectly straight. Milo used the whip to lift the man’s chin and said coolly: “Kyle, how do you feel?”

Kyle breathed lightly, his bangs slightly disheveled, his whole body covered in a thin layer of sweat. The bright red whip marks crisscrossed his body, making him look quite wretched. A hint of hoarseness entered his low voice: “…Thank you for the young master’s instruction.”

The young man gazed deeply into Kyle’s eyes, looking straight into those deep, dark pools, trying to find a trace of disturbance, yet regrettably seeing only the usual respectful calmness.

The young man let out a bored sigh, let go, and tossed the whip onto the floor. He lay back on the bed and complained: “You are so boring, Kyle. You are truly too boring. Do you remember when you were little and would burst into tears at the slightest thing? That was much more interesting.”

Hearing this, Kyle’s gaze tightened, becoming as deep as ink: “The young master is right. I have embarrassed you.” Saying this, he silently got up, put on his clothes, and tidied up the mess in the room.

Before long, the room was restored to its original state. Kyle was once again the picture of proper decorum. He gently coaxed the still-lounging Milo: “Young master, breakfast is ready. Please have your meal.”

Milo yawned lazily, gave a soft “hm” in agreement, then rolled over and curled up like a cat at the edge of the bed, letting Kyle attend to his washing.

A silver cup was brought to his lips. Milo didn’t even open his eyes, rinsing his mouth a few times with the water in the cup. Kyle picked up a damp towel and wiped the young man’s face, each movement careful and focused, as if he were wiping a precious piece of porcelain.

The young master’s golden eyes half open, seeing his serious and attentive appearance, a hint of mischief flashed in his eyes. His fingertips dipped a little water in the porcelain basin and he lifted his hand, dotting it bit by bit onto Kyle’s chest, leaving playful water stains on the white shirt.

Kyle’s expression did not change, continuing his tasks. He then fetched a comb and brushed Milo’s hair, smoothing the fluffy golden locks until they were soft and shiny. Only then did he stand up and say respectfully: “Young master, please change your clothes.”

Only then did Milo slowly get out of bed, his arms naturally spread open, letting Kyle attend to him. Having been served by Kyle since childhood, he did not mind being naked before him. The young man’s increasingly mature body was fully displayed before the man.

His proportions were well-balanced, fresh and natural, like a young sapling that had just sprouted. The lines were not exaggerated, carrying the vigor and vitality of youth, with pert, snow-white buttocks like a ripe peach, emitting an enticing fruity fragrance.

Kyle stood with lowered eyes behind Milo, yet his fingers faintly traced the outline of the young man’s beautiful buttocks in the air. His hand paused for a moment, the fabric brushing against the young man’s tender white skin, bringing a slight chill. Milo frowned in displeasure and complained: “Cold… Be gentler.”

Kyle’s movements became even more delicate, patiently fastening his cufflinks for him. Milo turned his head, tapping his fingertips at the end of his hair, his tone carrying a spoiled sort of complaint: “This part is sticking up, it looks weird.”

“Yes.” Kyle lowered his eyes, his fingertips deftly smoothing it down for him. Only then was the young man satisfied, lifting his chin and letting Kyle adjust his collar for him.

Once everything was in order, Milo slowly walked toward the dining room. The table was already set with exquisite dishes, the pure silver carved cutlery gleaming, light dancing between the porcelain plates and crystal glasses.

“Young master, please enjoy your meal.” Kyle pulled out the chair and helped Milo sit down, then retreated to stand behind Milo, attending at his side, his hand clasped behind his back, as still as a statue.

Milo ate his breakfast slowly. Suddenly, he thought of something and turned to Kyle with a mischievous smile, his golden eyes shining too brightly, full of unrestrained mischief.

Kyle couldn’t help but pause. Each of the young master’s smiles was like a sharp blade, both dangerous and captivating. He bent down to inquire: “Young master, do you have any orders?”
